Its teaching hospital, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre (UKMMC) is located in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, Cheras and also has a branch campus in Kuala Lumpur. Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz UKM
Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz UKM or HCTM, formerly known as ''Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia'' (HUKM), is one of the five university hospitals in Malaysia. It is located in Bandar Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur and is administered by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). The hospital has a special ward for cancer treatment sponsored by MAKNA and Maybank. History Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz UKM has an interlinked history with the Faculty of Medicine, UKM. The faculty was formed on 30 May 1972. This faculty started the premedical course at the Faculty of Sciences, Main Campus of UKM at Jalan Pantai Baru, Kuala Lumpur in May 1973. The first batch numbering up to 44 students attended the course. Preclinical Medical Course started in May 1974 at the temporary building allocated for Medical Faculty in the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) area. UKM Medical Molecular Biology Institute (UMBI)
The UKM Medical Molecular Biology Institute, usually referred to as UMBI, is a biomedicine and cancer research institute located in Bandar Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The institute is one of research institute in National University of Malaysia. UMBI was established in 2003. Bandar Baru Bangi
Bandar Baru Bangi (literal translation: ''Bangi New Town'') is a township situated in Hulu Langat District, in southeastern Selangor, Malaysia. It is named after the small town of Bangi situated further south. It is located between Kajang and Putrajaya (formerly Prang Besar) and is about 25 km away from the capital city, Kuala Lumpur. Anuwar Ali
Anuwar bin Md Ali (born 1946) is a Malaysian economist and exponent of higher education, is the second Vice-Chancellor and President of Open University Malaysia. He began as a tutor in the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 1973. From then on, he rose in ranks to become the Dean of Economics in 1993 and ultimately the Vice-Chancellor of UKM on 1 May 1998. In addition to this, he was the Director of Higher Education at the Ministry of Higher Education (1995–1998) and Chairman of the Malaysian Examination Council (2001–2003). Born in Jasin, Melaka on 11 July 1946, he received his secondary education at Melaka High School. Hulu Langat District is a district located in the southeastern corner of Selangor, between Kuala Lumpur and Negeri Sembilan. The ASEAN University Network (AUN) is an Asian university association. It was founded in November 1995 by ASEAN member countries including 13 universities. After the enlargement of ASEAN by the ASEAN Charter in 1997 and 1999, the AUN membership has been increasing. Tunku Naquiyuddin ibni Almarhum Tuanku Ja'afar is the eldest son of Tuanku Jaafar ibni Almarhum Tuanku Abdul Rahman, the Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, who was also a former Yang di-Pertuan Agong (King) of Malaysia.
