University Of Girona
The University of Girona ( ca, Universitat de Girona, UdG (); ;) is located in the city of Girona, Catalonia, Spain. Its real origin dates back to its creation in 1446, but it was reestablished as a new university in 1991. As of 2021, it consists of several campus and buildings across Girona: ''Montilivi'', ''Barri Vell'', ''Centre'', and ''Parc Científic i Tecnològic.'' A fifth campus, ''Campus de Ciències de la Salut'', was proposed some time ago. Since its founding, the university has had five presidents ( ca, rectors): Josep Maria Nadal i Farreras, from 1991 to 2002, Joan Batlle i Grabulosa from 2002 to 2005, Anna Maria Geli from 2005 to 2013, Sergi Bonet Marull from 2013 to 2017 and Joaquim Salvi since 2017 (still in office). Organization Partnerships and strategic alliances The UdG has partnered with other universities and research centers (including the University of the Balearic Islands and University of Perpignan Via Domitia) to create thPyrenees-Mediterranean Cros ...

Double-stranded Uracil-DNA Glycosylase
Double-stranded uracil-DNA glycosylase (, ''Mug'', ''double-strand uracil-DNA glycosylase'', ''Dug'', ''dsUDG'', ''double-stranded DNA specific UDG'', ''dsDNA specific UDG'', ''UdgB'', ''G:T/U mismatch-specific DNA glycosylase'', ''UDG'') is an enzyme with systematic name ''uracil-double-stranded DNA deoxyribohydrolase (uracil-releasing)''. This enzyme catalyses a specific chemical reaction: it hydrolyses mismatched double-stranded DNA and polynucleotides, releasing free uracil Uracil () (symbol U or Ura) is one of the four nucleobases in the nucleic acid RNA. The others are adenine (A), cytosine (C), and guanine (G). In RNA, uracil binds to adenine via two hydrogen bonds. In DNA, the uracil nucleobase is replaced by .... Ústí Nad Labem
Ústí nad Labem (, , ) is a city in the Czech Republic. It has about 92,000 inhabitants. It is the capital of its eponymous region and district. It is a major industrial centre and, besides being an active river port, is an important railway junction. Administrative division Ústí nad Labem is divided into four boroughs, which are further divided into 22 administrative parts: *Ústí nad Labem-město (parts Ústí nad Labem-centrum, Božtěšice, Bukov, Habrovice, Hostovice, Klíše, Předlice, Skorotice, Strážky, Vaňov and Všebořice); *Ústí nad Labem-Neštěmice (parts Krásné Březno, Mojžíř and Neštěmice); *Ústí nad Labem-Severní terasa (part Severní Terasa); *Ústí nad Labem-Střekov (parts Brná, Církvice, Kojetice, Olešnice, Sebuzín, Střekov and Svádov). Etymology The name of Ústí nad Labem is formed from the Old Czech ' ("river mouth") and ' (the Elbe River). It thus literally means "Mouth-upon-the-Elbe", in reference to its location at the B ...

Czech Republic
The Czech Republic, or simply Czechia, is a landlocked country in Central Europe. Historically known as Bohemia, it is bordered by Austria to the south, Germany to the west, Poland to the northeast, and Slovakia to the southeast. The Czech Republic has a hilly landscape that covers an area of with a mostly temperate continental and oceanic climate. The capital and largest city is Prague; other major cities and urban areas include Brno, Ostrava, Plzeň and Liberec. The Duchy of Bohemia was founded in the late 9th century under Great Moravia. It was formally recognized as an Imperial State of the Holy Roman Empire in 1002 and became a kingdom in 1198. Following the Battle of Mohács in 1526, the whole Crown of Bohemia was gradually integrated into the Habsburg monarchy. The Protestant Bohemian Revolt led to the Thirty Years' War. After the Battle of White Mountain, the Habsburgs consolidated their rule. With the dissolution of the Holy Empire in 1806, the Cro ...

Muduga Language
Muduga, also called Mudugar, is an unclassified Southern Dravidian language of India influenced by Kannada and Tulu. It is mainly spoken by Muduga tribes in the Attappady valley south of the Nilgiris in Palakkad district, Kerala. It is mutually intelligible In linguistics, mutual intelligibility is a relationship between languages or dialects in which speakers of different but related varieties can readily understand each other without prior familiarity or special effort. Geometric Graph Theory
Geometric graph theory in the broader sense is a large and amorphous subfield of graph theory, concerned with graphs defined by geometric means. In a stricter sense, geometric graph theory studies combinatorial and geometric properties of geometric graphs, meaning graphs drawn in the Euclidean plane with possibly intersecting straight-line edges, and topological graphs, where the edges are allowed to be arbitrary continuous curves connecting the vertices, thus it is "the theory of geometric and topological graphs" (Pach 2013). Geometric graphs are also known as spatial networks. Different types of geometric graphs A ''planar straight-line graph'' is a graph in which the vertices are embedded as points in the Euclidean plane, and the edges are embedded as non-crossing line segments. Fáry's theorem states that any planar graph may be represented as a planar straight line graph. A triangulation is a planar straight line graph to which no more edges may be added, so called bec ...

Unit Disk Graph
In geometric graph theory, a unit disk graph is the intersection graph of a family of unit disks in the Euclidean plane. That is, it is a graph with one vertex for each disk in the family, and with an edge between two vertices whenever the corresponding vertices lie within a unit distance of each other. They are commonly formed from a Poisson point process, making them a simple example of a random structure. Definitions There are several possible definitions of the unit disk graph, equivalent to each other up to a choice of scale factor: * Unit disk graphs are the graph formed from a collection of points in the Euclidean plane, with a vertex for each point and an edge connecting each pair of points whose distance is below a fixed threshold. * Unit disk graphs are the intersection graphs of equal-radius circles, or of equal-radius disks. These graphs have a vertex for each circle or disk, and an edge connecting each pair of circles or disks that have a nonempty intersection. * U ...
