UAAP Season 73 Volleyball Tournaments
The seniors' division of the UAAP Season 73 volleyball tournaments opened November 27, 2010. Tournaments are hosted by De La Salle University. Tournament games are held at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan City. The juniors' division tournaments were held on the first semester of the 2010–11 school year; the UE Pages and the De La Salle Junior Lady Archers won all of their elimination round games in their respective divisions to clinch the championship outright. UE Red Warriors
UE Red Warriors refer to the collegiate men's varsity teams of the University of the East. The women's collegiate varsity teams are called the UE Lady Warriors. The Athletic director of the University of the East is Rodrigo M. Roque. Background The University of the East is one of eight schools participating in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. The UE Red Warriors teams have won UAAP championships in basketball, volleyball, fencing, table tennis and other sports. Jem Ferrer
Jamenea "Jem" Ferrer is a Filipina volleyball player. She was a 3-time UAAP best setter awardee while playing for the Ateneo university Lady Eagles volleyball team. She was a member of Fab 5 together with Dzi Gervacio, Fille Cainglet–Cayetano, Gretchen Ho and A Nacachi. Career Ferrer won the UAAP Best Setter awards three times when she won the award in the 2009-2010 Season 72, 2010-2011 Season 73 and the 2012-2013 Season 75. She was the 2011 Shakey's V-League Season 8 1st Conference Finals Most Valuable Player, after guiding her team to the league championship. Aiza Maizo
Aiza Maizo-Pontillas (born February 29, 1988) is a Filipina professional volleyball player. She was a former member and team captain of the UST Golden Tigresses, and a member of the Philippines women's national volleyball team. She led the España-based squad to its 16th and, as of 2018, latest championship in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) league. She was a Shakey's V-League (SVL) three-time Finals and two-time Season Most Valuable Player. Maizo is known for bagging several best-of awards in almost all volleyball skill departments in UAAP and SVL, excluding setting and digging. She is also known as the first Filipina in the entire franchise of SVL to take both Finals and Season MVP in a single conference twice. Michele Theresa Imperial Gumabao (; born September 2, 1992) is a Filipino volleyball player and beauty pageant titleholder. She is currently signed to the Creamline Cool Smashers of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL), and has previously played for teams in the Philippine Super Liga (PSL). She was named "Best Opposite Spiker" five times in her professional career and was the Finals in the 2016 Shakey's V-League Reinforced Conference. She played collegiate volleyball for the De La Salle Lady Spikers, winning the UAAP title three consecutive times. Jennylyn Reyes (born January 12, 1991) is a Filipino volleyball athlete who competed with PSL Manila in the 2016 FIVB Club World Championship. Career Reyes played for Meralco Power Spikers from 2013 to 2015. She was awarded Best Libero in the 2015 Philippine Super Liga All-Filipino. She played for Petron Tri-Activ Spikers before being selected to play with Foton Pilipinas in the 2016 Asian Club Championship and with PSL Manila for the 2016 FIVB Club World Championship.
