U3 (Berlin U-Bahn)
U3 is a line on the Berlin U-Bahn created in its current version on 7 May 2018. The routing is largely the same as the previous U2 until 1993, but it runs from Krumme Lanke to Wittenbergplatz. The route was renumbered to U1 from 1993 to 2004. It was extended one station further east to Nollendorfplatz to enable trains to be reversed and to allow one-stop transfer to the U4 in 2003. On 7 May 2018, the U3 was extended to run with the U1 all the way to Warschauer Straße. Changing routes and designations The line to Krumme Lanke station has changed several times in the course of its existence. Initially, line A connected Krumme Lanke in the southwest of Berlin with Pankow in the north and was marked in red on the network maps. From 1957 two lines served the southwestern section of the line: the red route AII to Pankow as before, and a green route BII to Warschauer Brücke. After the construction of the Berlin Wall in 1961, the small profile network was completely redesigned in 196 ...

U3 (Frankfurt U-Bahn)
The A line is the north-to-south main line of the Frankfurt U-Bahn. It is the oldest and longest line of the U-Bahn system. Served by four routes (U1, U2, U3 and U8) starting at ''Südbahnhof Railway Station'' in Sachsenhausen, the A line runs through downtown Frankfurt up to ''Heddernheim Station'' in the north of the city, where it branches out to Ginnheim (U1 and U9), Oberursel (U3), Riedberg (U8 and U9) and Bad Homburg (U2). The U9 service between Ginnheim, Riedberg and Nieder-Eschbach does not use the central section and tunnels of the line, making it the only light rail service of the network that does not serve downtown Frankfurt. The Riedberg and Ginnheim branches were planned as parts of the future ''D line subway'' but are operationally part of the A line until the D line development and construction is finished. History The Line A with its three connecting lines covers about half of the Frankfurt subway network and combines various upgrade standards, linking subway, e ...

The U3 is an underground line in Nuremberg. The line was opened on 14 June 2008. It is about long, making it the shortest in the system. The number of stations is 14. U3 shares part of its route (from Rathenauplatz to Rothenburger Straße) with the older U2. History While the original plans of the U-Bahn network to be all called for at least three main trunk lines on their entire dedicated corridors, financial constraints and the decision not to abandon the Tramway network as had been planned at the time the U-Bahn began construction, made it clear after the construction of U2 that a third trunk line would be economical only if the Tram network was abandoned after all. A political consensus emerged to keep the Tram network, but still expand the U-Bahn system, if a bit slower and more moderately. Therefore, it was decided to use parts of existing tunnels for ...

Cessna U-3
The Cessna 310 is an American four-to-six-seat, low-wing, twin-engine monoplane produced by Cessna between 1954 and 1980. It was the first twin-engine aircraft that Cessna put into production after World War II. Development The 310 first flew on January 3, 1953, with deliveries starting in late 1954. The sleek modern lines of the new twin were backed up by innovative features such as engine exhaust thrust augmenter tubes and the storage of all fuel in tip tanks in early models. In 1964, the engine exhaust was changed to flow under the wing instead of the augmenter tubes, which were considered to be noisy. Typical of Cessna model naming conventions, a letter was added after the model number to identify changes to the original design over the years. The first significant upgrade to the 310 series was the 310C in 1959, which introduced more powerful Continental O-470, Continental IO-470-D engines. In 1960 the 310D featured swept-back vertical tail surfaces. An extra cabin window ...
