Avies AS was an airline and is now a travel company based in Tallinn, Estonia. Its main base was Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport.Flight International 27 March 2007 Avies operated flights from Tallinn to Kärdla and Kuressaare in Estonia. History Avies was established and started operations in 1991 and operated scheduled passenger transport, charter and air taxi services. All domestic flights in Sweden were cancelled in March 2015, due to contract cancellation by Swedish Traffic Administration. Before that Avies flew three domestic routes in Sweden. Avies was declared bankrupt by court on 26 June 2015, however continued to operate as usual. Sveg () is a locality and the seat of Härjedalen Municipality in Jämtland County, Sweden with 2,547 inhabitants in 2010. Overview Sveg is the largest urban area in Härjedalen and the fourth largest in the county of Jämtland. The Ljusnan river flows through the city. The Hawker 800 is a mid-size twinjet corporate aircraft. It is a development of the British Aerospace BAe 125, and was assembled by Hawker Beechcraft. Development In April 1981, the British Aerospace board sanctioned the programme to improve the British Aerospace 125-700 series. By May 1983 the new aircraft was ready for its first test flight. The BAe 125-800 series has a number of modifications and changes over the 700, the most noticeable being the redesigned cockpit windscreen. Accompanying this are a modified rear fuselage fairing, as well as a glass cockpit and uprated (from 3,700 to 4,300 lb thrust) Garrett TFE731-5R-1H engines. The British Aerospace Jetstream is a small twin-turboprop airliner, with a pressurised fuselage, developed as the ''Jetstream 31'' from the earlier Handley Page Jetstream. A larger version of the Jetstream was also manufactured, the British Aerospace Jetstream 41.
