Twin Peaks is an unincorporated community in San Bernardino County, California, United States, located on California State Route 189 west-southwest of Lake Arrowhead. Twin Peaks has a post office with ZIP code 92391, which opened in 1916. History Originally settled in the 1860s with many surrounding strawberry farms, the town would first be known as Strawberry Flat. Some of the first buildings to be constructed in the town include the now gone Squirrel Inn, the still-standing Antlers Inn, and the also still-standing Pine Rose Cabins. The Antlers Inn originated in 1919 when some 20 cabins were simultaneously constructed around a central lodge then known as the Alpine Terrace Resort. Calvary Chapel Bible College In 1975, Calvary Chapel Bible College purchased and renovated the Monte Corona resort, repurposing it as a Biblical college and Conference Center. State Route 189 (SR 189) is a state highway in the U.S. state of California that runs through the San Bernardino Mountains in San Bernardino County. The route travels from State Route 18 near Crestline to State Route 173 in Lake Arrowhead, serving Twin Peaks and Blue Jay along its way. Route description SR 189 begins at Lake Gregory Drive approximately twenty feet north of State Route 18, between the community of Arrowhead Highlands to the west and the community of Rimforest to the east. Lake Arrowhead is an unincorporated community and a census-designated place (CDP) in the San Bernardino Mountains of San Bernardino County, California, surrounded by the San Bernardino National Forest, and surrounding the eponymous Lake Arrowhead Reservoir. Lake Arrowhead is located 13 miles north east of the San Bernardino city limits. The population of the CDP was estimated at 12,424 in the 2010 census.
