Tuula Linnainmaa
Tuula Linnainmaa ( Forss; born 8 January 1942) is a retired Finnish politician representing the National Coalition Party. She served as a Member of Parliament for the Uusimaa constituency in 1987–1997, and as the transport minister in the first Lipponen cabinet in 1995–1997. In 1997, she was appointed the inaugural Governor ( fi, Maaherra) of the newly-formed Southern Finland Province, serving there until 2003. Uusimaa (constituency)
Uusimaa is a Constituencies of Finland, Finnish constituency represented in Parliament of Finland, eduskunta. It covers the administrative region of Uusimaa, excluding the capital city of Helsinki, which forms Helsinki (constituency), its own constituency. Uusimaa elects 35 members to eduskunta, which makes it the largest electoral district in the country. Even though the city proper is not part of the constituency, much of the area falls under the Greater Helsinki metropolitan area. Espoo
Espoo (, ; sv, Esbo) is a city and municipality in the region of Uusimaa in the Republic of Finland. It is located on the northern shore of the Gulf of Finland, bordering the cities of Helsinki, Vantaa, Kirkkonummi, Vihti and Nurmijärvi while surrounding the enclaved town of Kauniainen. Lipponen I Cabinet
The first cabinet of Paavo Lipponen was the 66th government of Finland, which existed from 13 April 1995 to 15 April 1999. The cabinet’s Prime Minister was Paavo Lipponen. It was a majority government, and one of the longest-running governments in Finnish history. Lipponen's first government ran for a whole term of a Finnish cabinet, or 1 464 days in total. Finns or Finnish people ( fi, suomalaiset, ) are a Baltic Finnic ethnic group native to Finland. Finns are traditionally divided into smaller regional groups that span several countries adjacent to Finland, both those who are native to these countries as well as those who have resettled. Paavo Lipponen
Paavo Tapio Lipponen (; born 23 April 1941) is a Finnish politician and former reporter. He was Prime Minister of Finland from 1995 to 2003, and Chairman of the Social Democratic Party of Finland from 1993 to 2005. He also served as Speaker of the Parliament of Finland from 2003 to 2007 and was his party's nominee in the 2012 Finnish presidential election but received only 6.7% of the votes, making it the biggest defeat the Social Democratic Party had ever received in Finnish Presidential elections at the time.
