Truckfighters
Truckfighters are a Swedish rock band from Örebro, formed in 2001. History Truckfighters was formed in Örebro, Sweden in 2001. After releasing EPs in 2001 and 2002, they recorded a split-EP with local Swedish band Firestone in 2003. In 2005 they released their debut album '' Gravity X'' on both Fuzzorama Records and MeteorCity Records. Their follow-up album, ''Phi'', was released in 2007 by Poison Tree Records in the U.S. and on the Fuzzorama label elsewhere. Their sound has been described as classic desert rock, similar to bands like Dozer, Fu Manchu, and Kyuss. They have been featured on the MTV Sweden show "Fuzz". The band has done extensive touring over the years, playing more than 300 live shows, most of them in Europe. Their first USA tour, in July 2011, included stops in New York, Chicago, Detroit, and Cleveland. ''Truckfighters'' is a documentary directed by Joerg Steineck about the Swedish rock band named Truckfighters. It incorporates various interviews with the band, showing their members working on day-to-day jobs in their home town Örebro, recording the album "Mania" in their studio and following them on tour through Europe. The film, which is documentative in style of narration, signifies itself a "fuzzomentary film". It provides various surreal graphical sequences of fictional and non fictional content, which serve as connective and illustrative elements. Josh Homme
Joshua Michael Homme ( ; born May 17, 1973) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is best known as the founder, primary songwriter, and only continuous member of the rock band Queens of the Stone Age, which he formed in 1996 and in which he sings lead vocals and plays guitar, as well as occasionally playing bass and drums in the band's early days. He also provides backing vocals and plays various instruments (primarily drums) in the rock band Eagles of Death Metal, which he in 1998. Homme began his career as the and guitarist of the rock band Kyuss, with whom he performed from from 1987 to 1995. Örebro ( , ) is the List of urban areas in Sweden by population, sixth-largest city in Sweden, the seat of Örebro Municipality, and capital of the Örebro County. Queens Of The Stone Age
Queens of the Stone Age (commonly abbreviated QOTSA) is an American rock band formed in 1996 in Palm Desert, California. The band was founded by vocalist and guitarist Josh Homme, who has been the only constant member throughout multiple line-up changes. The current line-up consists of Homme alongside Troy Van Leeuwen (guitar, lap steel, keyboard, percussion, backing vocals), Michael Shuman (bass guitar, keyboard, backing vocals), Dean Fertita (keyboards, guitar, percussion, backing vocals), and Jon Theodore (drums, percussion).
