Trevor Converse
Trevor Converse (born February 4, 1970) is a Canadian retired professional ice hockey player who spent ten seasons in the minor leagues. Converse played 312 games with fifteen different teams from 1991 until 2000, where he finished his career with the Wichita Thunder. He also attended Edmonton Oilers training camp as a free agent in 1991. After his retirement in 2000, Converse was named the Assistant Coach of the Topeka Roadrunners. Converse is currently the Director Of Player Personnel for the El Paso Rhinos, a Junior "A" Tier III team based in El Paso, Texas. Baltimore Bandits
The Baltimore Bandits were an ice hockey team in the American Hockey League in the 1995–96 and 1996–97 seasons. They played in Baltimore, Maryland, at the Baltimore Arena. The Bandits were an affiliate of the National Hockey League's Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. After two years of minimal on-ice success, the franchise was moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, as the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks. History 1995-96 Season The Bandits were the third minor league hockey team to play in Baltimore. Their practice facility was in the suburban Columbia Ice Rink in Columbia, Maryland. The United Hockey League (UHL), originally known as the Colonial Hockey League from 1991 to 1997 and last known as the International Hockey League from 2007 to 2010, was a low-level minor professional ice hockey league, with teams in the United States and Canada. Junior hockey is a level of competitive ice hockey generally for players between 16 and 21 years of age. Junior hockey leagues in the United States and Canada are considered amateur (with some exceptions) and operate within regions of each country. The El Paso Rhinos are a junior ice hockey organization based in El Paso, Texas. Their home games are played at the County Events Center located within the El Paso County Coliseum complex. The Rhinos are members of the South Division of the Tier II junior North American Hockey League (NAHL). The organization was originally a member of the Amateur Athletic Union-sanctioned Western States Hockey League from 2006 to 2020. They also played in the NA3HL From 2020-2021 before joining the NAHL South Division. History In 2006, retired former El Paso Buzzards professional hockey player Cory Herman founded the El Paso Rhinos.
