Travis Vornkahl
Travis Vornkahl (born November 5, 1995) is a professional gridiron football offensive tackle who is a free agent. He most recently played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League (CFL). College career After using a redshirt season in 2014, Vornkahl played college football for the West Texas A&M Buffaloes from 2015 to 2018. He played and started in 32 games. Professional career Saskatchewan Roughriders On May 19, 2019, Vornkahl signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders after going undrafted in the 2019 NFL draft. He was granted his release on June 8, 2019, in order to pursue opportunities in the National Football League. Cleveland Browns On August 9, 2019, Vornkahl signed with the Cleveland Browns. In gridiron football, a lineman is a player who specializes in play at the line of scrimmage. The linemen of the team currently in possession of the ball are the offensive line, while linemen on the opposing team are the defensive line. A number of NFL rules specifically address restrictions and requirements for the offensive line, whose job is to help protect the quarterback from getting sacked for a loss, or worse, fumbling. The 2019 NFL Draft was the 84th annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible players for the 2019 NFL season. The 108th Grey Cup decided the Canadian Football League (CFL) championship for the 2021 season. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 season was cancelled and the start of the 2021 season was delayed, pushing the game to December 12, 2021.
