On May 19, 2019, Vornkahl signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders after going undrafted in the

On August 9, 2019, Vornkahl signed with the Cleveland Browns. He was released near the end of training camp on August 31, 2019.


Washington Redskins

Vornkahl later signed with the Washington Redskins to a practice squad agreement on October 3, 2019. After three weeks, he was released on October 21, 2019.

Two months later, on October 23, 2021, he made his professional debut against the Ottawa Redblacks as the team's starting left tackle. Vornkahl played and started in three regular season games for the Tiger-Cats as well as the East Semi-Final playoff game against the Montreal Alouettes. He was on the injured list for the East Final and was on the reserve roster for the
