Traveller (2012 Film)
"Traveller" was recorded for Linde Nijland's album, ''A Musical Journey'', in 2010. The story of the video is based on her lyrics, which portrait a traveller who asks herself questions along the road. Symbolically, the questions are about the meaning of life. The video is intended to convey the astral sense of the song. A 2D computer animation with watercolour paintings were designated for the background, to carry over the softness and pureness of Nijland's voice and music into the video. Sam Chegini ( fa, سام چگینی) is an Iranian music video director, filmmaker, animator, graphic designer, video editor, and puppeteer born in Tehran in 1992 in an artistic family. He has directed videos for Chris de Burgh, Gentle Giant, Jethro Tull, King Crimson's frontman, Jakko M Jakszyk, and Lenny Henry. Career Chegini started at the local TV as a puppeteer at 14. He then followed his passion for film and animation at 16. In 2009, Chegini joined VOP (Voice of Peace), a group that worked on reconstructing ancient Persian musical instruments, sponsored by United Nations Human Settlements Programme and IAARA. The Edgewater Casino is a former casino that was located at 760 Pacific Blvd South Vancouver, British Columbia. It was in operation from 2005 to 2017. History The Edgwater Casino opened in February 2005. In 2006, the casino was acquired by Paragon Gaming who would manage it for more than ten years. In September 2006, the company purchased the bankrupt casino for $43 million. The casino was closed on September 29, 2017. This was the same day that across the street, the Parq Vancouver opened its doors. Statistics In 2013, it generated $6.6 million for the city. In 2014 it was $7.2 million. Norman Music Festival (NMF) is an annual three-day American music festival created by Robert Ruiz, Wilmari Ruiz, Marta Burcham, Jim Wilson, Quentin Bomgardner, Kent Johnson, Jonathan Fowler, and Xian Pitt that takes place in downtown Norman, Oklahoma. Each year it highlights performances from many different genres of music. It has indoor and outdoor venues with musicians performing throughout the days and nights.
