Transit Systems
Transit Systems Group is an Australian-based public transport company, which also operates overseas through its subsidiary Tower Transit Group. Transit Systems Group is a subsidiary of the Kelsian Group, formerly SeaLink Travel Group. History In the 1980s and early 1990s, Lance Francis, Graham Leishman and Neil Smith together operated Transdev Queensland, Bayside Buslines in Brisbane, Peninsula Bus Lines on the New South Wales Central Coast and Sunliner Express on the east coast. Graham Leishman previously also operated a bus company with his father in 1971. After Sunliner Express collapsed in 1991, all were either sold or liquidated. In 1995, Francis, Leishman and Smith won the Midland bus contract in Perth in 1995 and founded Swan Transit, the first business unit of Transit Systems. Whippet (bus Company)
Whippet, formerly Go Whippet, is a bus and coach operator based in Swavesey, Cambridgeshire, England. History Whippet Coaches was founded in Huntingdonshire by bicycle salesman Henry Lee in 1919. The first Whippet coach was converted from an American ambulance. Originally based in the village of Hilton, they moved into a depot at Fenstanton in 1977. In 2009 the company sold these buildings to Stagecoach in The Fens and moved to a depot at Swavesey. In November 2014, the business was sold to Transit Systems, the parent company of London bus company Tower Transit. In October 2018, Go Whippet was sold to the Ascendal Group, owned by Tower Transit's former CEO Adam Leishman. Whippet used to operate some summer only services to the coast. These have been running in various forms from 1957 up to 2013, and ultimately served Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, Felixstowe, Clacton-on-Sea and Southend-on-Sea. Ascendal Group
Ascendal Group is a British public transport company that operates Whippet (bus company), Whippet in Cambridgeshire, the Ascendal Punta Arenas in southern Chile, and has a small shareholding in Hong Kong bus companies of Citybus (Hong Kong), Citybus and New World First Bus through Bravo Transport. It was founded in 2018 by former Tower Transit chief executive officer, CEO Adam Leishman until he and Go Whippet split away from Transit Systems to form Ascendal. Leishman is the son of Transit Systems co-founder Graham Leishman and was previously the Business Development Director at Transit Systems. The Inner West of Sydney is an area directly west of the Sydney central business district, New South Wales, Australia. Swan Transit is an Australian bus company operating Transperth services under contract to the Public Transport Authority. It is a subsidiary of Transit Systems. History On 21 January 1996, Swan Transit commenced operating services in the Midland area with 43 buses. On 29 September 1996, Swan Transit commenced operating services in the Canning Vale and Southern River areas from depots in Canning Vale and Southern River with 119 Mercedes-Benz and Renault buses. In January 1998, Swan Transit gained further services in the Armadale South and Kalamunda areas on 5 July 1998. Operations

Until 31 December 2014, the service was operated by South West Coach Lines.
