Train 20
The Train 20 (sleeper class Vande Bharat Express) is a proposed semi-high-speed, long-distance electric multiple unit (EMU) train which is supposed to be designed to replace the Rajdhani Express fleet of the Indian Railways. The rakes are expected to be similar to Train 18 (Vande Bharat), differing only in an aluminium body and sleeping berths. This train was supposed to be used for long distances. Since it was planned to be operational by 2020, it was named 'Train 20'. Since this train will be of EMU type, a locomotive would not be necessary to haul the coaches, instead the carriages will be self-propelled. The train is set to feature two distinctive classes, the air-conditioned chair car and sleeper cars. Integral Coach Factory (ICF) is a manufacturer of ICF coach, rail coaches located in Perambur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It was established in 1955 and is owned and operated by the Indian Railways. It is located in Perambur, in the suburbs of Chennai. The 12049 / 12050 Gatimaan Express is India's first semi-high speed train that runs between Delhi and Jhansi. AC Express trains are fully air-conditioned Superfast Express trains linking major cities in India. They have high priority and are among the fastest trains in India. Though some trains travel at 130 km/h at some sections, most of them are restricted to a speed of 110 km/h.
