Torres Blancas
Torres Blancas is a mixed use concrete building in Madrid, Spain, designed in 1961 by Spanish architect Francisco Javier Sáenz de Oiza. The structure is a noted example of Spanish Organicism. Spanish industrialist Juan Huarte commissioned the project which initially included two residential towers. Francisco Javier Sáenz de Oiza (12 October 1918 – 18 July 2000) was a Spanish architect and influential practitioner of the modernist movement in Spain. Brutalist architecture is an architectural style that emerged during the 1950s in the United Kingdom, among the reconstruction projects of the post-war era.
