''Top Seed'' is the third studio album by South Korean boy group Infinite. It was released on January 8, 2018, by Woollim Entertainment with the lead single "Tell Me". ''Top Seed'' was the group's first full album release since ''Season 2'' (2014) and the group's first release since ''Infinite Only'' (2016). It marked the group's first release as a six-member group after former member Hoya left the group in August 2017. Infinite ( ko, 인피니트; stylized as INFINITE) is a South Korean boy band formed in 2010 by Woollim Entertainment. The group is composed of six members: Sungkyu, Dongwoo, Woohyun, Sungyeol, L and Sungjong. Originally a seven-piece group, Hoya departed from the group on August 30, 2017. Infinite debuted in June 2010 with their EP ''First Invasion''. In 2012, the single "The Chaser" was named ''Billboard''s third best K-pop song of the 2010s decade and was included in ''Rolling Stone''s list of 75 Greatest Boy Band Songs of All Time in 2020. , established in 1999, is the holding company at the head of a Japanese corporate group that supplies statistics and information on music and the music industry in Japan and Western music. It started as, which was founded by Sōkō Koike in November 1967 and became known for its music charts. Oricon Inc. was originally set up as a subsidiary of Original Confidence and took over the latter's Oricon record charts in April 2002. Moon Doo-ri, better known by her stage name as Misfit (also known as Miss Pitt), is a South Korean songwriter, lyricist and artist. She is one of the studio artists at SM Entertainment headquarters in Seoul. ''Weekly Idol'' is a South Korean variety show that began in 2011 and currently airs Wednesdays at 7:30 PM KST on MBC M, and 12:00 AM KST on MBC Every1.
