Hello Counselor
''Hello Counselor'' () was a South Korean social commentary talk show that debuted on November 22, 2010. It was hosted by Shin Dong-yup, Lee Young-ja, and Cultwo ( Jung Chan-woo, Kim Tae-gyun). Choi Tae-joon joined the show as host from August 29, 2016 to September 4, 2017. After 8 years as host, Jung Chan-woo has left the show after the broadcast of April 23, 2018 due to health problems. According to the show's official description through KBS, ''Hello Counselor'' is a talk show with an emphasis on regular people, regardless of age or gender, that aims to help take down communication barriers by sharing stories about life. The program airs a new episode every Monday on KBS2, and re-airs it with English subtitles on KBS World a week later in the same time frame. Variety show, also known as variety arts or variety entertainment, is entertainment made up of a variety of acts including musical theatre, musical performances, sketch comedy, magic (illusion), magic, acrobatics, juggling, and ventriloquism. It is normally introduced by a Master of Ceremonies, compère (master of ceremonies) or Television presenter, host. The variety format made its way from the Victorian era stage in Britain and America to radio and then television. You Hee-yeol
You Hee-yeol (; born April 19, 1971) is a South Korean singer-songwriter, radio disk jockey, and the host of ''You Hee-yeol's Sketchbook''. He is the founder of the record label Antenna Music and the sole member of the project band Toy. Biography You Hee-yeol was born in Seoul and attended Kyungbock High School. He graduated from Seoul National University's College of Music with a major in composition. He first appeared in the local pop music scene by winning the grand prize at the fourth You Jae-ha Music Contest held in 1992 with the song "달빛의 노래" ("The Moonlight Song"). Jung Ki-suck (; born 9 March 1984), better known by his stage name Simon Dominic (), is a South Korean hip hop recording artist. Park Kyung-lim (Korean: 박경림; born March 30, 1979) is a South Korean entertainer, comedian and actress known for her wit and kind behavior. Boohwal ( ko, "부활", lit=Born Again, is a South Korean rock band, formed in 1985 by the lead guitarist/songwriter Kim Tae-won. History Formation and the 1980s Kim Tae-won changed the name of the group from "The End" to "부활" ("Boohwal") in ‘86 following the departure of the vocalist Kim Jong Seo (김종서). Kim Tae-won (, April 12, 1965) is a Korean guitarist with over 30 years of experience in Korean music industry, currently leading one of the most successful rock bands in Korean music history, Boohwal. His life was dramatised in a four episode KBS2 short series '' Rock, Rock, Rock'', where Kim was portrayed by musician-actor No Minwoo.
