Tommy Reilly (born 7 March 1989) is a Scottish singer–songwriter from Torrance, East Dunbartonshire. He gained recognition after winning the Channel 4 TV show ''Orange unsignedAct''. Shortly after, Reilly's first single "Gimme A Call" reached number 14 in the UK Singles Chart in its first week of release. Reilly released his debut album, '' Words on the Floor'', in 2009. His follow-up, ''Hello! I'm Tommy Reilly'', was released less than a year later on 14 June 2010. In December 2015 he released the 6-track EP "Weightless", recorded in the Scottish highlands and released bGizmo Tunes Recordings Reilly is also composing music for TV and movies, for instance for the Scottish movie production ''Anna and the Apocalypse''. The duo arranged the music and wrote the score for “Our Ladies” (due for release in 2020 via Sony International), and are currently writing songs for Steven Spielberg’s revival of '' Animaniacs''. Torrance, East Dunbartonshire
Torrance is a relatively affluent village in East Dunbartonshire, formerly Stirlingshire, Scotland, located north of Glasgow city centre. Torrance used to mainly consist of farmland. The village was once famous as a resting place for workers on their way to the Campsie Fells north. The Forth and Clyde Canal has a wharf nearby at Hungryside, and the A807 runs along its southern edge. The village has an active community charity whose aims are to improve the village facilities. T In The Park
T in the Park festival was a major Scottish music festival that was held annually from 1994 to 2016. It was named after its main sponsor, Tennents. The event was held at Strathclyde Park, Lanarkshire, until 1996. It then moved to the disused Balado airfield, Perth and Kinross, from 1997 to 2014. In 2015 the festival moved to Strathallan Castle. It was originally held over two days, and extended to three days from 2007. In 2016 the daily capacity was 70,000. The 2017 T in the Park was cancelled due to problems at the 2016 event. It was officially replaced with the TRNSMT festival which takes place on the same weekend at Glasgow Green. The 2017 festival was a success and further editions of TRNSMT followed in 2018 and 2019. Roddy Hart
Roderick John Hart (born 16 July 1979) is a Scottish singer–songwriter, film/TV and theatre composer, and broadcaster from Glasgow. As a solo artist, he has released three records – ''Bookmarks'', ''Sign Language'' and ''Road of Bones'' – and one EP, ''The Dylan EP'' (with Irish artist Gemma Hayes). The Glasgow School of Art (GSA; gd, Sgoil-ealain Ghlaschu) is a higher education art school based in Glasgow, Scotland, offering undergraduate degrees, post-graduate awards (both taught and research-led), and PhDs in architecture, fine art, and design.
