''To the Loveless'' is the seventh studio album by Japanese electronica/rock duo Boom Boom Satellites, their first full original album release since 2007. It is sold as both a regular CD version and a limited edition containing a DVD with the music videos for " Back on My Feet" and "Drain", a short documentary on the release of "Back on My Feet", and a live performance at Shibuya O-East. It was released on May 26, 2010. "Back On My Feet" was used as an alternate opening theme for '' Xam'd: Lost Memories''; "Stay" is used in Japanese commercials for the Sony BRAVIA that feature footballer Atsuto Uchida. Boom Boom Satellites
were a Japanese electronic music duo consisting of guitarist and vocalist Michiyuki Kawashima and bassist and programmer Masayuki Nakano. They were signed to Sony Music Entertainment Japan, with whom they had released all of their albums in Japan. History Kawashima and Nakano formed the band in 1990, having met at university and debuted in Europe as a rock unit in 1997. According to an interview, the name originated from a song by Sigue Sigue Sputnik. In 1995, the group's music debuted in Japan on a compilation album released by Torema Records, also affiliated with Untitled Records. Belgian record company R&S Records released their first single in Europe later that year. Ted Jensen
Ted Jensen (born September 19, 1954) is an American mastering engineer, known for having mastered many recordings, including the Eagles' ''Hotel California'', Green Day's '' American Idiot'' and Norah Jones' ''Come Away with Me''. Biography Ted Jensen was born to Carl and Margaret (Anning) Jensen, both of whom were musicians. Carl had studied at Yale University. Margaret went to Oberlin College & Conservatory and Skidmore College and was also a pilot. Carl and Margaret met on a train while going to a choral workshop. Ted has one brother, Rick, and two daughters, Kristen and Kim. While attending High School, Jensen was building his own stereo and recording equipment and began recording local bands both in the studio and at live events. Atsuto Uchida
is a Japanese former professional footballer turned coach who played as a right-back. Uchida started his career with Kashima Antlers, making his debut in 2006 at the age of 17. After four years and three J1 League Titles, Uchida moved to Germany with Schalke 04 in 2010 for €1.3 million. With Schalke, Uchida won the 2010–11 DFB-Pokal, and was named in the Bundesliga team of the season twice between 2012 and 2014. He later played in the 2.
