Tina Roth-Eisenberg
Tina Roth Eisenberg is a Swiss designer based in Brooklyn, New York. She is best known for founding the Swiss Miss design blog and studio (stylized as "swissmiss" and "swiss-miss"). She is also the founder of Friends Work Here, CreativeMornings, TeuxDeux and Tattly. Biography Tina Roth Eisenberg was born and raised in Speicher, Switzerland. After highschool in Trogen she studied communication design in Geneva, Switzerland and Munich, Germany and earned her degree in 1999. In 1999, Tina Roth Eisenberg took an internship at a small design studio in New York City. After three months, she accepted an offer for a full-time job at the studio. Tina founded CreativeMornings, a monthly lecture series, in October 2008. The lecture series receives 100 to 500 attendees and extends to over 196 cities worldwide. In 2008, Roth-Eisenberg became a Design Director for Plumbdesign (which became Thinkmap and was rebranded by Roth Eisenberg). She founded swissmiss, a design blog and studio, in 2005. ...

Speicher is a municipality in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden, in Switzerland. History Speicher is first mentioned in 1309 as ''Spicher''. The name originated in the Middle Ages, during the heyday of the Abbey of Saint Gall. At that time the village church served as a granary of the monastery. The first battle of the Appenzell Wars was fought at the village of Vögelinsegg, near Speicher in 1403. A monument to the battle, a pointing Appenzell farmer with a morning star, was built in 1903 on the ridge of Vögelinsegg. Trogen is a municipality in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden in Switzerland. The town is the seat of the canton's judicial authorities. History The first mentioning of Trogen was in 1168 (''Trugin''). The name Trogen refers to a number of fountains (''Trögen'') which is reflected in the coat of arms. CreativeMornings
CreativeMornings is a free monthly breakfast lecture series designed for creative communities. In 2008, Tina Roth-Eisenberg founded the lecture series in Brooklyn, New York as an ongoing, accessible event for New York’s creative community. The concept was simple: breakfast and a short talk one Friday morning a month. Every event would be free of charge and open to anyone. South by Southwest, abbreviated as SXSW and colloquially referred to as South By, is an annual conglomeration of parallel film, interactive media, and music festivals and Convention (meeting), conferences organized jointly that take place in mid-March in Austin, Texas, United States. Boerum Hill (pronounced ) is a small neighborhood in the northwestern portion of the New York City borough of Brooklyn, bounded by Schermerhorn Street to the north and Fourth Avenue to the east.
