Timothy Surujbally
Timothy Nicholas Surujbally (born May 25, 1984) is an American cricketer of Trinidadian origin who made his debut for the U. S. national side in November 2012. He is a right-handed batsman and occasional right-arm off spin bowler. Born in San Fernando, Trinidad, Surujbally emigrated to the United States in 2007, settling in Florida. His club cricket has been played in Miami, for teams in the South Florida Cricket Alliance and the Florida Southeast Cricket League. In November 2012, Surujbally made his international debut for the U.S. in the annual Auty Cup series against Canada. Suriname National Cricket Team
The Suriname national cricket team is the team that represents Suriname in international cricket. The team is organised by the Suriname Cricket Board, which has been an List of International Cricket Council members, associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 2011 (and previous an affiliate member from 2002). Suriname made its international debut at the 2004 Americas Affiliates Championship in Panama, where it placed last. At the 2006 ICC Americas Championship, the team won the division three event, and was promoted to division two for the 2008 ICC Americas Championship, 2008 edition. Twenty20 (T20) is a shortened game format of cricket. At the professional level, it was introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2003 for the inter-county competition. In a Twenty20 game, the two teams have a single innings each, which is restricted to a maximum of 20 overs. Together with first-class and List A cricket, Twenty20 is one of the three current forms of cricket recognised by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as being at the highest international or domestic level. A typical Twenty20 game is completed in about two and a half hours, with each innings lasting around 70 minutes and an official 10-minute break between the innings. The 2015 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier, for the 2016 World Twenty20, was held from 6 to 26 July 2015. The tournament was hosted by both Ireland and Scotland. 51 matches were played among 14 nations, down from 72 matches among 16 nations previously. The tournament formed part of the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier series, with the top six teams going forward to the qualifying round of the 2016 ICC World Twenty20 tournament. Matches where both teams had T20I status were recorded as a Twenty20 International match. Steven Ryan Taylor (born November 9, 1993) is an American cricketer. He was the captain of the United States cricket team but was dismissed from the role in September 2017. He is regarded as one of the best batsmen in USA Cricket History and also as a premier Allrounder in the country with his off-breaks.
