Timo André Bakken
Timo André Bakken (born 21 March 1989) is a Norwegian cross-country skier. Career He won a silver medal in the sprint race at the 2009 Junior World Ski Championships. He made his World Cup debut in March 2008 in Drammen, and collected his first World Cup points in March 2009 in Trondheim. A 27th place in November 2009 in Kuusamo followed. He represents the sports club Mjøndalen IF, and lives in Skotselv. In 2012 Bakken become the world fastest skier in 100m. He beat skiers like Petter Northug and Emil Jönsson Emil Jönsson Haag (born 15 August 1985) is a Swedish retired cross-country skier who competed between 2004 and 2018. Nedre Eiker
Nedre Eiker was a Municipalities of Norway, municipality in Buskerud Counties of Norway, county, Norway. It is part of the Districts of Norway, traditional region of Eiker. Emil Jönsson
Emil Jönsson Haag (born 15 August 1985) is a Swedish retired cross-country skier who competed between 2004 and 2018. Career At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, he finished seventh in the individual sprint event. He has twelve World Cup victories, all in sprint events, since 2008. He won the FIS Cross-Country Sprint World Cup in 2009–10 and 2010–11. He won bronze in the sprint at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. In March 2018, his retirement from cross-country skiing following the 2017–2018 season was announced. Following his retirement he became sighted guide for visually impaired para athlete Zebastian Modin. They participated together at the 2022 Winter Paralympics and won a bronze medal in men's 20 km classical. Östersund
Östersund (; sma, Staare) is an urban area (city) in Jämtland in the middle of Sweden. It is the seat of Östersund Municipality and the capital of Jämtland County. Östersund is located at the shores of Sweden's fifth-largest lake, Storsjön, opposite the island Frösön. It is the only city in Jämtland. The 2015–16 FIS Cross-Country World Cup was the 35th official World Cup season in cross-country skiing for men and women. The season started on 27 November 2015 in Kuusamo, Finland, and ended on 12 March 2016 in Canmore, Alberta, Canada. Therese Johaug set a new record for total points in one season, with 2681. Martin Johnsrud Sundby set a new men's record for total points in one season, with 2634. Sundby won 14 races during the season and surpassed Petter Northug's record of nine victories which he achieved in both 2009–10 and 2012–13.
