Timir Chanda
Timir Chanda (born 1 January 1975) is a former Indian cricketer, coach and administrator. An opening bowler, he played first-class and List A cricket for Tripura from 1995 to 2013. In the Ranji Trophy in 2010-11, Chanda took 4 for 35 and 7 for 116 in Tripura's seven-wicket victory over Goa at Porvorim. His best bowling figures were 8 for 133 against Himachal Pradesh in 2011–12, when Himachal Pradesh nevertheless won by an innings. He scored 134, his only century A century is a period of 100 years. Goa Cricket Association Academy Ground
The Goa Cricket Association Academy Ground, formerly known as the District Institute of Education and Training Ground, is a cricket ground in Porvorim, Goa, India. The first recorded match held on the ground came in November 2008 when Goa Under-16s played Kerala Under-16s. Two first-class matches have been played at the ground, the first of which came in the 2011-11 Ranji Trophy. The first saw Goa play Jharkhand, while the second saw Tripura as the visitors. In cricket, a century is a score of 100 or more runs in a single innings by a batsman. The term is also included in "century partnership" which occurs when two batsmen add 100 runs to the team total when they are batting together. The Ranji Trophy (also known as Mastercard Ranji Trophy for sponsorship reasons) is a domestic first-class cricket championship played in India between multiple teams representing regional and state cricket associations.
