Tim Kehler
Tim Kehler (born July 5, 1971) is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach. He most recently served as head coach of the Ravensburg Towerstars in Germany. Career Born in Victoria, British Columbia, Kehler began his career behind the bench in 2002-03 as head coach of the North Delta Flyers of the PIJHL, followed by a stint as assistant coach of the BCHL’s Surrey Eagles the following season. From 2004 to 2007, he served as head coach and general manager of fellow BCHL side Trail Smoke Eaters. From 2007 to 2010, Kehler was a member of the coaching staff of WHL’s Swift Current Broncos as an assistant. The 2010-11 campaign saw him stand at the helm of the Salmon Arm Silverbacks of the BCHL, serving as head coach and general manager. DEL2
DEL2 (also known as DEL II) is the second tier ice hockey league in Germany, below the '' Deutsche Eishockey Liga'' (DEL) and ahead of the '' Oberliga''. Founded in 2013 to replace the defunct '' 2nd Bundesliga'', DEL2 is administered by ESBG, under licence from DEB. History The DEL2 league was founded on 2 May 2013 by Eishockeyliga Betriebsgesellschaft mbH. The foundation of the league was controversial as it was preceded by a long standing dispute between the operator of the second division, Eishockeyspielbetriebsgesellschaft mbH (ESBG), and the German Ice Hockey Federation (DEB). Bobby Carpenter (ice Hockey)
Robert E. Carpenter Jr. (born July 13, 1963) is an American former professional ice hockey center who was recently head coach of Kunlun Red Star of the Kontinental Hockey League. Prior to that he played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for 18 seasons from 1981–82 until 1998–99. In his NHL career that spanned 18 years, Carpenter played 1,178 games, scoring 320 goals and 408 assists for 728 points. He has the distinction of being the second American-born hockey player to be selected in the first round of the NHL Entry Draft ( Mike Ramsey was the first), and the first player to play in the NHL directly from high school after being drafted. Carpenter was born in Beverly, Massachusetts, but grew up in Peabody, Massachusetts. Kassel Huskies
The EC Kassel Huskies are a professional ice hockey club based in Kassel, Hessen, Germany. The club currently competes in DEL2, the second level of ice hockey in Germany. The Huskies were founded in 1977 and have competed in the top five levels of the hockey in Germany since that time. Kassel's home barn is the Eissporthalle Kassel, which has a capacity of 6,100. Greg Poss
Greg Poss (born August 6, 1965, in Green Bay, Wisconsin) is a former American hockey player and coach. He was most recently the head coach of the EC Red Bull Salzburg of the Austrian Hockey League. Playing career Poss began his career with the Dubuque Fighting Saints in the United States Hockey League. He then played four years for the University of Wisconsin men's ice hockey team. In 1989 he made his professional debut in the American Hockey League for the Maine Mariners . After two seasons, he joined the International Hockey League with the Peoria Rivermen. After a serious knee injury he had to finish his playing career. Frankfurt Lions
The Frankfurt Lions were a German professional men's ice hockey club from Frankfurt, Germany that played in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. The club ceased operations in 2010 due to financial difficulty. History The hockey team was founded as a section of the renowned sports club ''Eintracht Frankfurt'' in 1959. After the section split from the club on March 5, 1991, the hockey team was renamed the Frankfurter ESC "Die Löwen" (meaning ''The Lions''). When the DEL formed in 1994, the team became known as the Frankfurt Lions.
