Tim Dedopulos
Tim Dedopulos is a British-born writer, game designer and editor of mixed English and Greek heritage. His published material covers a wide range of areas—novels, short-stories, game supplements/strategy guides, direct mail self-help booklets, light popular culture books, and more serious non-fiction works on a variety of subjects. Career history Dedopulos was born in Winchester, Hants on the last day of the 60s, and graduated from University College, London in 1993 with a degree in Anthropology (Dedopulos in fact never graduated, so this claim is both incorrect and therefore not surprisingly, unreferenced). He has been writing professionally ever since, often in conjunction with more traditional editorial day jobs. Early in 1995 he joined the Glasgow office of Seattle games giant Wizards of the Coast to work on their dystopian future-horror game ''SLA Industries''. The game line was dropped just before Christmas that same year, and after a period of freelance work, he moved to ...

Alumni Of University College London
Alumni (singular: alumnus (masculine) or alumna (feminine)) are former students of a school, college, or university who have either attended or graduated in some fashion from the institution. The feminine plural alumnae is sometimes used for groups of women. The word is Latin and means "one who is being (or has been) nourished". The term is not synonymous with "graduate"; one can be an alumnus without graduating ( Burt Reynolds, alumnus but not graduate of Florida State, is an example). The term is sometimes used to refer to a former employee or member of an organization, contributor, or inmate. Etymology The Latin noun ''alumnus'' means "foster son" or "pupil". It is derived from PIE ''*h₂el-'' (grow, nourish), and it is a variant of the Latin verb ''alere'' "to nourish".Merriam-Webster: alumnus

Feng Shui Role-playing Game
''Feng Shui'' is a martial arts-themed role-playing game, designed by Robin Laws, published first by Daedalus Entertainment and now by Atlas Games. The game shares its setting with the collectible card game ''Shadowfist''. The system is simple, with most detail being in the game's combat system. Combat is made to flow quickly, moving from one action scene to another very quickly. It was inspired and based on Hong Kong style action movies. The characters begin at a high level of skill, as appropriate for protagonists in the source films. After a successful Kickstarter, Atlas Games released a Second Edition of Feng Shui in late 2015, on the eve of the game's 20th anniversary of publication. Overview The name ''Feng Shui'' refers to one of the central themes of the game: those who control places with powerful Feng Shui control the world. These people find that events go in their favour more often than would be explained by chance. The outcomes of all major historica ...

EverQuest Role-Playing Game
''EverQuest Role-Playing Game'' is a role-playing game based on the ''EverQuest'' fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). The game was published by White Wolf under its Sword and Sorcery Studios imprint. ''EverQuest Role-Playing Game'' shares many things with the MMORPG, such as setting, available races and classes, monsters, spells, and items. History ''EverQuest Role-Playing Game'' was first published in summer 2002 under Wizards of the Coast's Open Gaming License using a system nearly identical to the d20 System; however, it was not d20 System branded because it included self-contained rules for character creation and advancement. In early 2005, a major revision in the form of the ''EverQuest II'' Player's Guide was released, which deviated even further from the d20 System. A notable example is its approach to classes. There are only four character class In tabletop games and video games, a character class is a job or profession commonly used ...

Orpheus (role-playing Game)
''Orpheus'' is a tabletop role playing game by White Wolf Publishing, set in a microcosm of the World of Darkness. Unlike the other World of Darkness game lines, ''Orpheus'' has a specifically planned metaplot and a set number of books that were published. Although it uses the same system as White Wolf's other games, ghosts and spirits are the exclusive focus of this story. Other supernatural creatures in the World of Darkness are strongly discouraged from entering the events of ''Orpheus''. It is, however, tied with '' Wraith: The Oblivion'', White Wolf's previous game dealing with the afterlife; some of the events in ''Orpheus'' are related to ''Ends of Empire'', the final book in the ''Wraith: The Oblivion'' line. Volumes There are six books in total in the ''Orpheus'' line; the first is the main rulebook, which holds the rules used throughout the series. The five that follow carry out a specific, albeit optional, plotline, told through fiction and roleplaying, as well as expan ...

Unknown Armies
''Unknown Armies'' is an occult-themed roleplaying game by John Scott Tynes and Greg Stolze, published by Atlas Games. The first edition was published in 1998, with the second and third editions being released in 2002 and 2017 respectively. The game is set in a postmodernist occult underground where characters wield Magic in fiction, magick by personal belief. System ''Unknown Armies'' uses a percentile dice system where checks are made by rolling two 10-sided dice, with one representing the "tens" and the other representing the "singles" digit (d100 for short). The game uses a 'roll-under' system, where the goal is to roll below the target number, rather than above as for games like ''Dungeons & Dragons''. Similarly, a roll of 1 is a critical success, while a roll of 00 (100) is a critical failure. Players can start off as ''mundanes'', ''Avatars'', or ''Adepts''. The benefit of the latter two is that one finds themselves in tune with some mystic force, and are most likely c ...
