Tiffany Grant
Tiffany Lynn Grant (born October 11, 1968) is an American voice actress and script writer who is known for her English-dubbing work for ADV Films on such anime films and television series as ''Neon Genesis Evangelion'', in which she voiced the character Asuka Langley Soryu. Biography Grant was born in Houston, Texas. She was the first actor hired by ADV Films in February 1994. Grant's first work in the field was Raina from ''Guy: Double Target''. In 1996, she was cast as Asuka Langley Soryu, one of the main female characters in ''Neon Genesis Evangelion''. She would later go on to write ADR scripts for several anime shows, having written over 200 TV episodes to date. Grant is also known for portraying Nojiko in ''One Piece'', Altena in '' Noir'', and Ryoko Subaru in ''Martian Successor Nadesico''. Calgary Expo, known in full as the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo, is an annual fan convention held at Stampede Park in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Originally taking place in the BMO Centre, the show began in 2005 as a comic book convention before moving on in 2009 to include actors from television shows and movies. The convention has since become the second largest convention in Canada. ''Burn Up!'' is a 1991 Japanese anime original video animation. It concerns a special group of police officers called Team Warrior who are often given special assignments in the police department. In North America, AnimEigo first released Burn Up! on VHS in 1992 in Japanese with English subtitles. An English dub of the OVA was produced in 1994 by ADV Films, and was released on VHS that year. In 2005, ADV Films released the OVA on DVD. The DVD also contains the English dub. In 2009, Sentai Filmworks re-released the OVA on DVD.
