Tianjin Academy Of Fine Arts
The Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts (TJ Arts; ) is a public art college in Tianjin, China. The academy is sponsored by the Tianjin Municipal People's Government. The Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts was founded in 1906 with the original name of Peiyang Female Normal School (), which has a long history and it is also a comprehensive college providing a wide variety of subjects. It is the most important arts education center in the north part of China. History The Beiyang Women's Normal School was founded in 1906 by Lü Bicheng although Fine Art was not established at the school until 1926. In 1929 it became the ''Hebei Provincial Women's Normal Academy''. In 1949 men were admitted to the facility and it was renamed the ''Henei Normal Arts Academy''. In 1959 the part that dealt specifically with Fine Art became the ''Henei Academy of Fine Art''. Lü Bicheng
Lü Bicheng (, also known as P. C. Lee i-Cheng Lee or Pi-Cheng Li Alice (P.) Lee or Alice Pichen Lee: 1883–1943) was a Chinese writer, activist, newspaper editor, poet and school founder. She has been mentioned as one of the top four women in literature from the early Republic of China. Early life Lü Bicheng was born in Taiyuan, Shanxi in 1883 during the late Qing dynasty, but is considered a native of her ancestral home of Jingde County, Anhui by Chinese convention. Her father , who earned a jinshi degree in 1877, served as Educational Commissioner of Shanxi Province. Her mother Yan Shiyu (嚴士瑜) was an educated gentry woman. Lü Bicheng was the third of four daughters in the family, and her elder sisters Lü Huiru and Lü Meisun were also known for their literary achievement. Ren Han
Ren Han (; born February 27, 1984, in Tianjin) is a Chinese contemporary artist. Biography Ren Han was born in 1984 in Tianjin, China. He graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts in 2006, then he graduated from the Villa Arson(Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Art in Nice) in 2011 and obtained the DNSEP (National Superior Diploma of Expression of Plastic Arts). In the same year, he was selected for the Jeune Creation in France. In 2017 Ren Han won the Rock Award from Wang Shikuo Art Foundation and Today Art Museum. Shi Pingmei
Pingmei Shi or Shi Pingmei (石评梅; 20 September 1902 – 30 September 1928) was a Chinese writer. She was considered as one of the four women famous for their contributions to modern Chinese literature in the early Republic of China. Life Shi was born in Taiyuan in 1902 in Pingding County, Shanxi Province. From an early age she was exceptional. She would memorise whole books. Her father did not agree that to keep women virtuous you should keep them ignorant and he sent his daughter to school in Taiyuan. She studied in Shanxi's provincial capital until she was 18 when she graduated from the Taiyuan Women's Teaching College.
