''Three Cornered Moon'' is a 1957 Australian television play starring James Condon. Plot The play is set on the Duke of Mall’s yacht at Cannes years ago. Lenora, the Duke's wife, leaves her philandering husband. The Duke seeks solace in Lenora's identical twin sister in Paris. Paul O'Loughlin
Paul O'Loughlin was an Australian actor and director. He directed some of the first television plays in Australia. He joined the ABC in the 1930s. He directed numerous stage plays. He was born and educated in Melbourne and worked in Brisbane and Adelaide. O'Loughlin served in the RAAF in WWII and married Maiva Drummond in 1942. The couple had met in Melbourne in 1935 in the cast of Gregan McMahon's production of '' Sheppey''. James Condon
James Thomas Condon (27 September 1923 – 14 February 2014) was an Australian actor of radio and stage, a scriptwriter and voice over, however best known for his numerous television roles in serials and television movies in Australia, particularly ''Number 96'' and ''Neighbours''. He was the husband of ''Neighbours'' actress Anne Haddy and the brother of theatre producer and actress Coralie Condon, who was a Medal of the Order of Australia recipient and known as the "First Lady of Western Australian Television". Coralie died on 31 December 2014, aged 90. Career James Thomas Condon was born in Fremantle, Western Australia. His career started in repertory theatre, before joining at ABC Radio in Perth in 1942; he would serve with the RAAF serving in the Air Force during World War II and eventuate to flight lieutenant. Thelma May Afford (née Thomas) (1 December 1907 – 21 August 1996) was an Australian costume designer, theatre performer, and fashion journalist who worked in Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney. Biography Early years Afford was born Thelma Thomas in Broken Hill, New South Wales to William James Thomas and Ethel (née Henderson) in 1907. Her parents moved to Adelaide, where she attended the Presbyterian Girls' College, Glen Osmond. There she studied drawing and design, and became an art teacher at the South Australian School of Arts and Crafts. She acted between 1932 and 1934, then moved to Melbourne in 1934 to further study at Technical College. Marriage to Max Afford Max Afford and Thelma met when she was designing the costumes for his play ''Colonel Light: The Founder'' at the Tivoli, Adelaide.
