''The Undercurrent'' is the fourth studio album by French band Scarve. This is their first studio album to not feature Guillaume Bideau, and the last to feature Pierrick Valence. Due to absence of Bideau the band hired ex-Darkane frontman Lawrence Mackory to do the clean vocals. Dirk Verbeuren
Dirk Verbeuren (born 8 January 1975) is a Belgian musician and the current drummer of American thrash metal band Megadeth, amongst other projects. He previously was a member of the Swedish melodic death metal band Soilwork. Verbeuren recorded five full-length albums and a live DVD/Blu-ray with Soilwork, and performed in Europe, the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia, Russia and China as a headlining act between early 2004 and July 2016. As of 2016, Verbeuren left Soilwork to join Megadeth as a full-time member. Influences Verbeuren cites Dave Lombardo and Mick Harris as earliest influences on his drumming. Darkane is a Swedish metal band that originated in Helsingborg in 1998. Their music contains ample thrash elements interspersed with acoustic interludes and symphonic features, such as the in-studio use of synthesizers and occasionally full orchestras and choir singing. The name "Darkane" is a portmanteau of the words "dark" and "arcane".
