The Takeover UK
The Takeover UK was an American rock group from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Formed in mid-2004, the band released its first EP, ''It's All Happening'' in July 2008, and its first full-length album, ''Running With the Wasters'', in March 2009, both for Rykodisc. The first single, "Ah La La," was featured on popular MTV reality show '' The Hills'' as well as in promotional commercials for ABC's ''Castle''. The band has toured with The Juliana Theory, The Shys, and Army Navy. In Winter 2009 - 2010, the band toured their ''Running with the Wasters'' album. The Virgins
The Virgins were an American indie rock band formed in 2006 in New York City. The band split up in November 2013. History 2006–2007: Formation Frontman Donald Cumming began writing music by himself in his New York apartment. He then recruited friends to fill out the band. Almost immediately they made a five-song EP titled '' The Virgins '07'', compiled of the band's early recordings, and songs Donald had already recorded himself. Upon completion, Cumming passed out the EP to friends and DJs causing the music to pervade the New York club scene. Soon after, the demo came across Atlantic Records who signed Cumming before the band was fully formed. Junior Prom is the artist name of Mark Solomich. Based in Brooklyn, the band has been operating since 2012 and released their debut EP in February 2014.
