Peter Sarsgaard
John Peter Sarsgaard (; born March 7, 1971) is an American actor. He studied at the Actors Studio, before rising to prominence playing atypical and sometimes villainous roles in film and television. He made his film debut with '' Dead Man Walking'' (1995). He gained recognition for his role in '' The Man in the Iron Mask'' (1998), '' Boys Don't Cry'' (1999), and '' The Center of the World'' (2001).
