The Skywalk Is Gone
''The Skywalk is Gone'' (Mandarin name: ''Tianqiao bu jian le'') is a 2002 Taiwanese short film directed by Tsai Ming-liang and starring Chen Shiang-chyi and Lee Kang-sheng. Plot Shiang-chyi has returned to Taipei from her trip to Paris. She goes to the skywalk where she first met Hsiao-kang, the salesman who sold her a watch, but some construction has taken place and the skywalk is gone. She stares at a large video screen for a while and then wanders around aimlessly. After crossing a street illegally, she is stopped by a police officer, who checks her ID card. Shiang-chyi then stops at a coffee shop for a short while. She realizes that her card is missing, so she goes back to the officer to ask if he still has it. He replies that he does not. Chen Shiang-chyi
Chen Shiang-chyi (; born 27 November 1969) is a Taiwanese actress. She has appeared in most of Tsai Ming-liang's feature films. Career When she was studying at the Taipei National University of the Arts, Chen was spotted by Edward Yang when he walked by her acting class. She then appeared in two of Yang's films. After her performance in ''A Confucian Confusion'', which was premiered in the competition section of the 1994 Cannes Film Festival, she decided to go to New York City to study performing arts. She graduated from the Educational Theatre master's program in the Department of Music and Performing Arts Professions at New York University. After Chen returned to Taiwan, she had starring roles in many of Tsai Ming-liang's films. She also appeared in Lin Cheng-sheng's ''Sweet Degeneration'' (1997), which was entered into the 48th Berlin International Film Festival. What Time Is It There?
''What Time Is It There?'' is a 2001 Taiwanese film directed by Tsai Ming-liang. It stars Lee Kang-sheng, Chen Shiang-chyi, and Lu Yi-ching. Plot Hsiao-kang is a street vendor in Taipei who sells watches out of a briefcase. His father dies. Soon afterwards, Shiang-chyi goes to him to buy a dual-time watch, as she is taking a trip to Paris. She likes Hsiao-kang's personal watch, which is out of stock. At first, he refuses to sell his watch, explaining that his father just died and that it would be bad luck. She is persistent and eventually convinces him to sell the watch to her. Urbanization
Urbanization (or urbanisation) refers to the population shift from rural to urban areas, the corresponding decrease in the proportion of people living in rural areas, and the ways in which societies adapt to this change. It is predominantly the process by which towns and cities are formed and become larger as more people begin living and working in central areas. Lee Kang-sheng () (born 21 October 1968) is a Taiwanese actor, film director and screenwriter. He has appeared in all of Tsai Ming-liang's feature films. Lee's directorial efforts include ''The Missing'' in 2003 and '' Help Me Eros'' in 2007. Career Lee was working at an arcade when he was asked by Tsai Ming-liang to act in his TV film ''Boys''. This started a working relationship that has lasted over 30 years and Tsai said that he would never make another movie without Lee.
