The Holly Springs Disaster
The Holly Springs Disaster was a Canadian metalcore band formed in 2005 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. History They toured Canada numerous times to support their self-released ''Home Alone'' EP before collaborating with producer Zach Ohren to record their debut album, ''Motion Sickness Love''. The band’s album was released on September 18, 2007 by Canadian label Underground Operations. After the album release THSD did a cross-country tour (Tour and Loathing) with Protest the Hero and All That Remains. Tour and Loathing marked the band's first time stopping to play east coast dates. The Holly Springs Disaster recently debuted new material when they played The Reverb during Canadian Music Week 2008. Moose Jaw
Moose Jaw is the fourth largest city in Saskatchewan, Canada. Lying on the Moose Jaw River in the south-central part of the province, it is situated on the Trans-Canada Highway, west of Regina. Architects (British Band)
Architects is a British metalcore band from Brighton, East Sussex, formed in 2004 by twin brothers Dan and Tom Searle. The band now consists of Dan Searle on drums, Sam Carter on vocals, Alex Dean on bass, and Adam Christianson and Josh Middleton on guitars. They have been signed to Epitaph Records since 2013. Strongly influenced by bands such as The Dillinger Escape Plan, the sound of their first three albums was coarse, chaotic, and rhythmically complex. In 2011, Architects went in a more melodic post-hardcore direction with ''The Here and Now'', alienating some of their fanbase. PureVolume (formerly Unborn Media) was a website for uploading and streaming of music files, the first independently run of its type. PureVolume was created by Unborn Media, Inc; Mitchell Pavao; Brett Woitunski; and Nate Hudson, all from the University of Massachusetts. PureVolume is a website for the discovery and promotion of new music and emerging artists. The mission was to give artists a new promotion tool. Each artist has a profile that typically contains basic info, updates, photos, shows and music for streaming. Artists have the option of making each of their songs available for free download. Listeners and fans are also able to create profiles to interact with artists and each other, as well as track and share music they like. The Danforth Music Hall (originally Allen's Danforth Theatre) is a music venue and event theatre on Danforth Avenue in the neighbourhood of Riverdale in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Baptized in Blood was a five-piece London, Ontario-based heavy metal band. They were managed by Dave Mustaine, the frontman of American thrash metal band Megadeth. In 2006, they independently released the EP ''Baptized in Blood''. In 2009, they independently released the album ''Gutterbound''. That led to their being signed to Roadrunner Records, in December 2009. They stayed with Roadrunner for three years, releasing one album, also called ''Baptized in Blood''.
