The Glassworker
''The Glassworker'' (urdu: ''Sheesha Ghar'' , ''شیشہ گھر'') is an upcoming original hand-drawn animated debut feature film directed by Usman Riaz and produced by Mano Animation Studios. It is the fifth animated film produced in Pakistan, and features anime-influenced visuals. It is also the first hand drawn animated feature film produced in Pakistan. Producer Manuel Cristobal joined the project in early 2022. During production, Mano Animation Studios was invited by the Annecy Animation Festival in 2022 to be one of eight projects to present in their Work in Progress section. In 2023, film executive Apoorva Bakshi boarded the project as executive producer. ''The Glassworker'' is scheduled to be theatrically released in summer 2024. Art Malik
Athar ul-Haque Malik (born 13 November 1952), known professionally as Art Malik, is a Pakistani-born British actor who achieved international fame in the 1980s through his starring and subsidiary roles in assorted British and Merchant Ivory television serials and films. He is especially remembered for his portrayal of the out-of-place Hari Kumar in '' The Jewel in the Crown'' at the outset of his career. Early life Malik was born Athar ul-Haque Malik in Bahawalpur, Pakistan, the son of Zaibunisa and Mazhar ul-Haque Malik, a doctor who worked as an ophthalmic surgeon in Britain. When his father got a job as a surgeon in Moorfields Eye Hospital, Malik was brought to London in 1956, aged three. From the age of eleven, he attended Bec Grammar School in Tooting. David Freedman (screenwriter)
David Max Freedman (born 1965) is an American writer, producer and director. He is well known as the co creator of the British animated adult comedy television series '' Aaagh! It's the Mr. Hell Show!'' for the BBC. Early life Freedman was born in Plattsburgh, New York and went to The School of Visual Arts in New York City. He now lives in the UK. Freedman worked for over 9 years in a writing partnership with Alan Gilbey.
