The Fantastic Adventures Of Dizzy
''Fantastic Dizzy'' (''The Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy'' outside Europe & Australia) is a 1991 video game developed by Codemasters. It is part of the '' Dizzy series''. It was published on several platforms, including Mega Drive/Genesis, Master System, Game Gear, Nintendo Entertainment System,NES instruction booklet, p. 1 Amiga, and MS-DOS. The game was planned to be released in time for Christmas in 1990, but because of a legal action between Codemasters and Nintendo over the Game Genie the title was released in April 1991, making it miss the Christmas rush it was originally slated for. It sold 125,000 units instead of the expected 500,000. The game was awarded the "NES Adventure Game of the Year 1991" by ''Game Players'' Magazine and given the Parents Choice Award. The Oliver Twins
Andrew Nicholas Oliver and Philip Edward Oliver, together known as the Oliver Twins, are British twin brothers and video game designers. They began to professionally develop computer games while they were still at school, contributing their first type-in game to a magazine in 1983. They worked with publishers Codemasters for a number of years following their first collaboration '' Super Robin Hood'', creating the ''Dizzy'' series of games and many of Codemasters' Simulator Series games. At one point during the 1980s it was reported that 7% of all UK games sales were attributable to the Oliver Twins. In 1990 they founded Interactive Studios which later became Blitz Games Studios.
