The Argument (film)
''The Argument'' is a 2020 American drama film, directed by Robert Schwartzman, from a screenplay by Zac Stanford. It stars Maggie Q, Danny Pudi, Cleopatra Coleman, Tyler James Williams, Dan Fogler, and Emma Bell. It was released on September 4, 2020, by Gravitas Ventures. Plot A couple get into an argument while hosting a party. They and their guests later decide to re-create the argument in order to settle their disagreement over how the argument occurred. The four original participants become obsessed with recreating the argument accurately, first by re-enacting it themselves, but when they are unsatisfied by the results, they eventually hire actors to re-enact the incident. Robert Schwartzman
Robert Coppola Schwartzman (born December 24, 1982) is an American filmmaker, director, screenwriter, actor and musician. Schwartzman is best known for directing ''Dreamland'', ''The Unicorn'', and ''The Argument'', acting in his cousin Sofia Coppola's projects ''Lick the Star'' and ''The Virgin Suicides'', as well as starring in ''The Princess Diaries'' and as the lead vocalist of the rock/ pop band Rooney. Nathan Lloyd Stewart-Jarrett (born 4 December 1985) is a British actor, best known for starring as Curtis Donovan in the E4 series ''Misfits'' and as Ian in the Channel 4 series ''Utopia''. Early life Stewart-Jarrett was born in Wandsworth, London. He trained at the BRIT School for four years. He graduated in 2003 and went to the Central School of Speech and Drama, graduating in 2006. Metacritic is a website that review aggregator, aggregates reviews of films, TV shows, music albums, video games and formerly, books. For each product, the scores from each review are averaged (a weighted arithmetic mean, weighted average). Metacritic was created by Jason Dietz, Marc Doyle, and Julie Doyle Roberts in 1999. The site provides an excerpt from each review and hyperlinks to its source. A color of green, yellow or red summarizes the critics' recommendations.
