The AM Show (New Zealand)
''AM'' (formerly known as ''The AM Show'') is a New Zealand morning news and talk show that airs from 6am to 9am on Three. The programme is presented by Ryan Bridge, Melissa Chan-Green, Bernadine Oliver-Kerby and William Wairua. Former presenters included Amanda Gillies, Mark Richardson and Aziz Al-Sa'afin. It was presented by Duncan Garner from 2017 until his resignation in August 2021. News and sport bulletins are provided by Newshub. The show replaced '' Paul Henry'' after it was announced the frontman of the show, Paul Henry, was resigning and therefore the show was going to be replaced. The announcement was made by MediaWorks in November 2016, and ''Paul Henry'' last aired on 16 December 2016. The show's reporters are Sinelle Fernandez in Auckland, and Ashleigh McCaull in Wellington. Ryan Bridge
Ryan Bridge (born November 1987) is a New Zealand broadcaster who previously co-hosted the breakfast show '' AM'' on Three alongside Melissa Chan-Green and Bernadine Oliver-Kerby. Before this he previously hosted the ''Ryan Bridge Drive Show'' on Magic Talk radio. Early life Bridge grew up in the Kāpiti Coast District, where his first job was delivering newspapers. He was involved with the Youth Council and served as Youth MP for Darren Hughes. Career When Bridge was 22 years old, he began working as a political reporter in the press gallery of the New Zealand Parliament. He was also Three's Beijing correspondent and business newsreader for ''Morning Report'' on Radio New Zealand. Bridge has also worked on Three's previous current affairs show ''Story'' as a reporter and presenter, as well as ''Newshub'' on the same channel. Radio Live (stylised as Radio LIVE) was a nationwide Auckland-based New Zealand talkback, news and sport radio network owned and operated by MediaWorks New Zealand. It was formed by the 2005 split of talk and racing network Radio Pacific into a dedicated talk network which prioritised breaking news coverage (Radio Live) and a talk network which broadcast live horse racing and greyhound racing commentaries which initially retained the Radio Pacific name before a rebrand to Bsport and finally LiveSport. Magic is a New Zealand oldies radio network owned by MediaWorks New Zealand. The network targets New Zealand's growing population of baby boomers with a line-up of veteran broadcasters. Its breakfast show, Magic Breakfast (formerly Magic in the Morning), is hosted by long-time radio personality, Mark Bunting. The station targets 50- to 69-year-olds, an older demographic than similar MediaWorks brands. It is run alongside The Breeze with a similar playlist, but The Breeze has a younger female skew and easy listening music focus. Bernadine Oliver-Kerby (born 14 June 1971) is a New Zealand broadcaster who formerly co-hosted (until December 2019) the breakfast show alongside Jason Reeves on Coast. She has previously worked as a newsreader for both '' ONE News'' and Newstalk ZB. Previously she worked as a sports reporter and was the co-anchor of ''One News'' and a fill-in for other bulletins during the week, including One News at 6pm and Breakfast and late news. She co-anchored One News with Peter Williams. Between February and March 2006 she presented TV Two's ''New Zealand's Brainiest Kid''. Oliver-Kerby also appeared in the TV One documentary, ''Intrepid Journeys''. Her episode documented the lives of the people in Croatia.
