Tetris 64
is a puzzle video game for the Nintendo 64. It was released only in English in Japan in 1998, and is the only Nintendo 64 game that works with the bio sensor accessory, which it included. Bio sensor The bio sensor is a Nintendo 64 accessory produced by SETA and only available in Japan. It was sold on its own or packaged with ''Tetris 64''. It looks like a Nintendo 64 controller pak with a wire coming out of it with a clip on the end. One end of the sensor plugs into the extension port on the Nintendo 64 controller, and the other end clips onto the player's ear. The device measures the user's heart rate and adjusts the game's difficulty accordingly. Reception The game was praised for its multiplayer mode, and was at the time the only Nintendo 64 ''Tetris'' game which allowed four-player mode. SETA Corporation
was a Japanese computer gaming company, founded on October 1, 1985 and dissolved on February 9, 2009. SETA was headquartered in Kōtō, Tokyo, with a branch in Las Vegas, Nevada. SETA developed and published games for consoles such as the Nintendo Entertainment System and the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It created development tools for Nintendo's consoles. It made games in North America but mainly Japan, focusing on golf and puzzles. It developed the Aleck 64 arcade system, based on the Nintendo 64 console. SETA also assisted in the production of the SSV arcade system, alongside Sammy and Visco. In 1999, Aruze became the parent company. The list of Nintendo 64 games includes licensed releases spanning from the platform's launch in 1996 to the final release in 2002. The Nintendo 64 home video game console's library of games were primarily released in a plastic ROM cartridge called the Game Pak. This strategic choice of high-performance but lower-capacity medium was met with some controversy compared to CD-ROM. Two small indentations on the back of each cartridge allows it to connect or pass through the system's cartridge dustcover flaps. ''The New Tetris'' is a puzzle video game for the Nintendo 64. The game was developed by H2O Entertainment and published by Nintendo, based on the latter's popular ''Tetris'' series. The game was originally released on July 31, 1999, in North America. The game is notable for showing scenic fly-bys of famous structures (for examples the Sphinx, the Pantheon, Saint Basil's Cathedral, a Mayan temple, and others) rendered in real-time. ''Magical Tetris Challenge'' is a puzzle game by Capcom for the Nintendo 64, Game Boy Color, and PlayStation (the latter version was released in Japan and Europe only).
