Termibus
Bilbao Intermodal, previously known as Termibus, is the main bus station of Bilbao ( Basque Country, Spain) and it is located beside San Mamés Stadium. The bus terminal is linked to the ''San Mamés'' underground, tram and commuter rail station. Termibus is the starting point of the BizkaiBus A3247 bus line to the Bilbao Airport. History The station was built in the mid-1990s as a provisional one in the former site of a football field, in response to the high traffic congestion caused by construction works and to concentrate in one point the many private bus stations scattered throughout the city. As years passed, the number of passengers and bus companies grew, and the location of Termibus proved to be a very strategic one, so the station was greatly improved. Bilbobus
Bilbobus is the name for metropolitan bus services in Bilbao. The service is owned by the city council of Bilbao. Operations will be transferred to Veolia Transport, the company that won the contract in May 2008. The buses can be distinguished by their red colour and large white lettering, and there are 28 major lines serving the city, with eight smaller lines connecting the town centre with neighborhoods with narrow streets where normal buses can't drive. Plus eight night lines, called Gautxori. Bilbobus has recently won a European Union prize for service excellence. It is part of a wider transport network operated by the Basque government, recent additions to which include the Metro Bilbao underground and the tram line. They link the Renfe, Euskotren Trena and FEVE train services and are heavily integrated by means of the Barik card to provide ease of movement in the city. Cercanías Bilbao
Cercanías Bilbao (Basque: ''Bilboko Aldiriak'') is a commuter rail network in Bilbao, serving the city and its metropolitan area. It is operated by Cercanías, as part of Renfe, the national railway company. It consists of three lines, named C-1, C-2 and C-3. All three of them start at Bilbao-Abando station, which is the central station of the city. System Cercanías Bilbao follows the same patterns as other Cercanías networks in the country, as Cercanías Madrid or Cercanías Barcelona. Bilbao Airport
Bilbao Airport is a minor international airport located north of Bilbao, in the municipality of Loiu, in Biscay. It is the largest airport in the Basque Country and northern Spain, with 5,469,453 passengers in 2018. It is famous for its new main terminal opened in 2000 designed by Santiago Calatrava.
