Hugh Riminton
Hugh Riminton (born 1961) is an Australian foreign correspondent, journalist and television news presenter. He is currently national affairs editor and occasional presenter of '' 10 News First'' (formerly '' Ten Eyewitness News''). He previously co-anchored '' Ten Eyewitness News'' with Sandra Sully until February 2017. Early life and education Born in Sri Lanka, where his father managed tea estates, Riminton migrated to New Zealand when he was five. He began work as a cadet reporter, aged 17 in Christchurch before moving to Australia in 1983 to work for the Macquarie Radio Network in Perth and Melbourne. Riminton graduated with a master's degree from Macquarie University with a major work focusing on peacekeeping policy. Clive Robertson (journalist)
Clive Robertson (born 28 December 1945) is an Australian radio and television personality in Sydney who has been heard on both the AM and FM bands for over forty years. Early life Robertson was born in Katoomba, New South Wales, in 1945. He left school at the age of 16 to begin work on a farm (including his beloved "Massey-Harris tractor"), going on to work for his father (a lawyer), later doing court work, and then moving on to become an electrical apprentice as well as running wires for the Postmaster-General's Department. He later worked on the railways cleaning steam locomotives, and also driving them from time to time, which would fuel a lifelong fascination with them. ''10 News First'' is an Australian television newscast, produced by Network 10. The network's ninety-minute long news program airs at 5pm each evening covering local, national and world news, including sport and weather. Weekend editions are presented nationally from Network 10's studios in Pyrmont, Sydney. Angela Bishop (born 6 September 1967) is an Australian reporter and television presenter who is currently a co-host on Network 10's '' Studio 10''. Career Bishop is currently a co-host on the network's morning program '' Studio 10''. Bishop commenced her work at Network Ten in 1989. Tim Webster (born 15 December 1951) is an Australian television and radio personality and sports broadcaster. He held various presenting roles on Network 10 from 1981 until 2008. Career Early career In 1972, Webster started working for Bathurst radio station 2BS, progressing from a media buyer to a radio announcer. Later, Webster was part of the on-air team at Triple M Sydney. Television Webster was the first newsreader on breakfast television show '' Good Morning Australia''. ''Sports Tonight'' is an Australian sports news and information program, hosted by Roz Kelly. The original series, which was developed by executive producer Steve Tucker, aired between 1993 and 2011, before it was revived in 2018 and axed again in 2020. History Original run The show ran from 1993 to 2011. From 1993 until 2005, the show ran for half an hour on each weeknight after '' Ten Late News''. The two shows merged in 2006, but there was some criticism by viewers that ''Sports Tonight'' was not long enough, and that it should have remained the same. Tracey Spicer
Tracey Leigh Spicer is an Australian newsreader, Walkley Award-winning journalist and social justice advocate. She is known for her association with Network Ten as a newsreader in the 1990s and 2000s when she co-hosted ''Ten Eyewitness News'' in Brisbane, Queensland.
