''10 News First'' is an Australian television newscast, produced by Network 10. The network's ninety-minute long news program airs at 5pm each evening covering local, national and world news, including sport and weather. Weekend editions are presented nationally from Network 10's studios in Pyrmont, Sydney. Network 10's news division also assists in the production of the morning show ''Studio 10'' and prime-time current affairs program '' The Project''. It draws upon the resources of ITN, APTN and Reuters for select international coverage outside that of the network, in addition to that of CBS News, which is legally in-house following the 2017 takeover. Tracey Spicer
Tracey Leigh Spicer is an Australian newsreader, Walkley Award-winning journalist and social justice advocate. She is known for her association with Network Ten as a newsreader in the 1990s and 2000s when she co-hosted ''Ten Eyewitness News'' in Brisbane, Queensland. She later went on to work with Sky News Australia as a reporter and presenter from 2007 to 2015. In May 2017 Spicer released her autobiography, ''The Good Girl Stripped Bare''. She was appointed as a Member of the Order of Australia "For significant service to the broadcast media as a journalist and television presenter, and as an ambassador for social welfare and charitable groups". Harry Potter (journalist)
Harry Potter (20 July 1941 – 8 May 2014) was an Australian journalist, television reporter and presenter. A veteran police and crime reporter whose career spanned more than fifty years, Potter first joined ''Ten Eyewitness News'', a nightly news show on Network Ten, in 1978. In 2013, Harry Potter became the first recipient of the Kennedy Lifetime Achievement Award. Potter won a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2013 Kennedy Awards. Potter was diagnosed with cancer in the early 2000s. He died from cancer on 8 May 2014, at the age of 72. He was survived by his wife, journalist Katrina Lee, and four children – Tim, Nick, Elisa and Jack. Juanita Phillips
Juanita Phillips (born 11 October 1963 in Brisbane) is an Australian journalist and news presenter. Phillips is currently weeknight presenter of '' ABC News NSW'' in Sydney. Career Phillips began her career in Brisbane in 1982 as a cadet journalist at ''The Courier-Mail'' where she became a feature writer and columnist. Anne Fulwood
Anne Fulwood (born 5 February 1959) is an Australian-born former reporter, journalist and writer with a long association as a newsreader and current affairs host, she was born in South Australia's Riverland region and began her career in the state of South Australia. Career Fulwood began her television career at ADS-7 (now ADS-10) in Adelaide in 1982 initially as a sports reporter. Tim Webster (born 15 December 1951) is an Australian television and radio personality and sports broadcaster. He held various presenting roles on Network 10 from 1981 until 2008. Career Early career In 1972, Webster started working for Bathurst radio station 2BS, progressing from a media buyer to a radio announcer. Later, Webster was part of the on-air team at Triple M Sydney. Television Webster was the first newsreader on breakfast television show '' Good Morning Australia''. Steve Liebmann (born 4 May 1944) is an Australian retired television presenter, journalist and radio broadcaster. Liebmann is best known for co-hosting ''Today'' on the Nine Network between 1982 and 1986, and again from 1990 to 2005. Ann Sanders (born 15 March 1960), is an Australian television journalist and news presenter. Sanders currently presents '' Seven Morning News'' and '' Seven Afternoon News Sydney.'' Kerry Michael O'Brien (born 27 August 1945) is an Australian journalist based in Byron Bay. He is the former editor and host of ''The 7.30 Report'' and ''Four Corners'' on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). He has been awarded six Walkley Awards during his career. Jana Bohumila Wendt ( ; born 9 May 1956) is an Australian Gold Logie award-winning television journalist, reporter and writer. Early life Wendt was born in Melbourne to Czech parents who emigrated to Australia in 1949. Wendt attended Presentation College, Windsor before graduating at the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Arts (French, Honours) in 1979. Career Starting as a researcher for the ABC, Wendt's television career began as a news presenter for ATV-10 evening news. George Donikian
George Jack Donikian (born 15 December 1951) is an Australian former radio and television news presenter/personality. He has worked at the SBS as well as the Nine Network and Ten Network. Early life Donikian was born and raised in Kingsford, Sydney. His father was a Greek Armenian who had emigrated to Australia from Athens in 1949, with his fiancée following a year later. He grew up speaking Greek, Armenian and Turkish, and did not speak English until the age of 7. Despite his father's wish for him to become a doctor or barrister, Donikian found his calling in sports, in particular soccer. At the age of 16, his soccer skills brought him to the notice of Jozef Vengloš, the manager of the national team, however his sporting hopes ended when he dislocated his shoulder whilst lifting weights in training.
