Harry Potter (journalist)
Harry Potter (20 July 1941 – 8 May 2014) was an Australian journalist, television reporter and presenter. A veteran police and crime reporter whose career spanned more than fifty years, Potter first joined ''Ten Eyewitness News'', a nightly news show on Network Ten, in 1978. In 2013, Harry Potter became the first recipient of the Kennedy Lifetime Achievement Award. Potter won a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2013 Kennedy Awards. Potter was diagnosed with cancer in the early 2000s. He died from cancer on 8 May 2014, at the age of 72. He was survived by his wife, journalist Katrina Lee, and four children – Tim, Nick, Elisa and Jack. Hamish McLean, the CEO of Ten Network Holdings (the parent company of Network Ten), called Potter "a giant of Australian journalism." TV Tonight
TV Tonight is an Australian-based website which features reviews, news and programming information related to television in Australia as well as OzTAM ratings information. The site was started by television critic David Knox in 2007 after listeners of his radio programs asked him for information they had missed. Knox runs the site, publishing his interviews with Australian media actors, producers, directors and programmers. Knox regularly visits the sets of Australian television series and reviews television programs. Knox also served as television critic for Radio National's breakfast program from 2009 to 2015. Dan Barrett is now in this role. Knox has an advanced diploma in screenwriting and was the founding Artistic Director of Screenplay. Sandra Sully
Sandra Sully (born 18 February 1965) is an Australian news presenter and journalist and editor for '' 10 News First'' in Sydney and Queensland. Sully attended Brisbane State High School, graduating in 1978. Life and career Sully was the first Australian television journalist to cover news of the 11 September terrorist attacks. She was on air when the first attack occurred and, shortly afterwards, began presenting live breaking coverage. She also hosted ''Cool Aid Australia's National Carbon Test''. She was the first woman to co-host the broadcast of the Melbourne Cup carnival and did so for seven years. Katrina Lee is an Australian executive director and former television news presenter. Lee is perhaps best known for her association with Network Ten where she was a Logie Award-winning news presenter at TEN-10 in Sydney from the 1970's to the 1990's.
