Te Atawhai Hudson-Wihongi
Te Atawhai Maurice Hudson-Wihongi (born 27 March 1995) is a New Zealand footballer who currently plays for Southern Football League Division One Central club Walthamstow. He has also played for the New Zealand national football team. Career Following a short stint at Canterbury United, in which he featured in just one game as a substitute against Waikato FC on 29 January 2012, Hudson-Wihongi signed for United States side Real Salt Lake on a youth contract, appearing for the club's under-18s. Following his departure, Hudson-Wihongi trialed at Scottish club Aberdeen and Italian Serie D club Padova. After signing for Auckland City FC from the now-defunct Wanderers SC, Hudson-Wihongi scored his first goal in the Charity Cup against Team Wellington. He also represented Auckland City at the 2015 FIFA Club World Cup, and played in their 0–1 loss against hosts Sanfrecce Hiroshima. The OFC Nations Cup is an international association football tournament held among the OFC member nations. It was held every two years from 1996 to 2004; before 1996 there were two other tournaments held at irregular intervals, under the name Oceania Nations Cup. No competition was held in 2006, but in the 2008 edition, which also acted as a qualification tournament for the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup and for a play-off for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, the New Zealand national football team emerged as winners. The Charity Cup (known as the ASB Charity Cup for sponsorship reasons) is New Zealand's association football super cup, which takes place on annual basis. The competition was founded in 1978 as the NZFA Challenge Trophy. The Champions of the National Soccer League and the Chatham Cup would compete. It stopped taking place after 1987. The tournament was re-introduced in 2011 as the ASB Charity Cup. The ASB Premiership Grand Final winner meets the best performing New Zealand representative in the OFC Champions League.
