Taylor Pendrith
Taylor Pendrith (born May 30, 1991) is a Canadian professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. He won twice on PGA Tour Canada in 2019. Amateur career Pendrith attended Kent State University from 2010 to 2014. He made the cut in the 2014 Canadian Open and was the low amateur. He was part of the Canadian team that finished second, behind the United States, in the 2014 Eisenhower Trophy. Professional career Pendrith turned professional in late 2014, after the Eisenhower Trophy. In 2015 he played mostly on PGA Tour Canada. He was runner-up three times and finished third in the Order of Merit to earn a place on the Web.com Tour. He finished tied for fourth place in the Club Colombia Championship, his second event on the 2016 Web.com Tour, but this was his only top-10 finish of the season and he missed the cut 14 times. The Monroe Invitational Championship is an annual amateur golf tournament in the United States, played since 1937 at Monroe Golf Club in Pittsford, New York, a suburb southeast of Rochester. Originally a match play event, it switched to 72-hole stroke play format in 1998. The MIC is a "category B" tournament in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, meaning it is one of the top 100 men's amateur tournaments in the world. The course at Monroe Golf Club opened in 1924 and was designed by Donald Ross. Nick Palladino won the 2013 event in a playoff. Due to rain, the event had been shortened to 54 holes. Mid-American Conference Men's Golf Championships
The Mid-American Conference men's golf championships is the conference championship tournament for men's golf in the Mid-American Conference, a Division I member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). All eight conference members qualify for the championship meet, which is played in stroke play format and held in three rounds over a three-day period in late April or early May. The winning team receives a regional berth to the NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championships. The tournament began in 1947 and is rotated to different courses each year, with the various conference members acting as host.
