Tania Lacy
Tania Jane Lacy is an Australian comedian. Early life and education Originally from Toowoomba, Queensland, Lacy spent many of her early years travelling with her family. Her father, then an officer in the army, was posted to Singapore (where Lacy was actually born) twice and Lacy spent a few years at Army schools. Career Ballet and choreography It was in Toowoomba that Lacy attended her first ballet class and very early on exhibited some degree of talent. It wasn't until the family had settled in Melbourne's outer eastern suburbs in the late 70's that Lacy was able to attend ballet classes again. She pursued the art vigorously and at the age of 12 was accepted into the Victorian College of the Arts School of Dance. Lacy decided not to attend instead opting to complete her education at a normal high school whilst pursuing her dance training after school hours. Toowoomba ( , nicknamed 'The Garden City' and 'T-Bar') is a city in the Toowoomba Region of the Darling Downs, Queensland, Australia. It is west of Queensland's capital city Brisbane by road. Robert Luketic (born 1 November 1973) is an Australian film director. His films include ''Legally Blonde'' (2001), '' Monster-in-Law'' (2005), '' 21'' (2008), '' Killers'' (2010), and '' Paranoia'' (2013). Early life Robert Luketic was born in Sydney, Australia, the elder of two children of a Croatian father and Italian mother. Career Luketic started making short films as a teenager and went on to study at the Victorian College of Arts – School of Film and Television (VCA). He first attracted Hollywood's attention with his award-winning short film ''Titsiana Booberini'' written by Tania Lacy. Arts Centre Melbourne, originally known as the Victorian Arts Centre and briefly called the Arts Centre, is a performing arts centre consisting of a complex of theatres and concert halls in the Melbourne Arts Precinct, located in the central Melbourne suburb of Southbank in Victoria, Australia. ''Midday'' (commonly referred to as ''The Midday Show'') is an Australian award-winning daytime television program, based on the variety format that aired on the Nine Network on 11 February 1985 until 27 November 1998. The show aired, like its title suggests, at noon, on a weekday schedule, and was a 90-minute variety programme with international and local guests. The program is currently hosted by Allison Langdon (Monday–Thursday) and Deborah Knight (Friday and Saturday). Lano and Woodley ( Colin Lane and Frank Woodley) is an Australian comedy duo. Previously, the two had been part of comedy trio The Found Objects along with Scott Casley. Casley left and so Lano and Woodley debuted as a double-act in March 1993 at Melbourne's Prince Patrick Hotel. Their act features sketch comedy and slapstick theatre. Their television show ''The Adventures of Lano and Woodley'' aired on the ABC in 1997 and 1999. In 1994, they won the Edinburgh Fringe Perrier Comedy Award. ''Raw FM'' was an Australian Television series produced by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation that aired for one season of thirteen episodes between November 1997 and February 1998. ''Raw FM'' was about an independent radio station of the same name and the young people that ran it. Many of the episode titles were a word-play on the word ''raw'', such as "Raw 'n' Sore" and "A Raw Nerve". The cast included Nadine Garner, Dominic Purcell and Sophie Heathcote. ''Full Frontal'' was an Australian sketch comedy series which ran on the Seven Network from 1993 to 1997. ''Neighbours'' is an Australian television soap opera, which has aired since 18 March 1985. It was created by television executive Reg Watson. ABC Television is the general name for the national television services of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). Until an organisational restructure in 2017/2018, ABC Television was also the name of a division of the ABC.
