Tang Lung Chau
Tang Lung Chau () is a islet located off the southern coast of Ma Wan island to the northwest of Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. Lighthouse Tang Lung Chau Lighthouse and the former light keeper's house, located on Tang Lung Chau, was declared a monument on 29 December 2000. The lighthouse, also commonly known as Kap Sing Lighthouse, was put into service on 29 April 1912; it is one of the five surviving pre-war lighthouses in Hong Kong. It is a skeletal steel tower of high with a white lantern on top. The steel tower and light apparatus were obtained from England. The lighthouse, unmanned and automated, is now under the management of the Marine Department. There is a bedroom, a kitchen, a latrine and a store room in the adjoining brick light keeper's house. There was no spring or fresh water supply on the island so the light keeper of Tang Lung Chau Lighthouse used rainwater which was collected from the roof and then diverted into an underground tank. Tsing Ma Bridge
Tsing Ma Bridge is a bridge in Hong Kong. It is the world's 16th-longest span suspension bridge, and was the second longest at time of completion. The bridge was named after the two islands it connects, namely Tsing Yi and Ma Wan. It has two decks and carries both road and rail traffic, which also makes it the largest suspension bridge of this type. The bridge has a main span of and a height of . The span is the longest of all bridges in the world carrying rail traffic. The bridge deck carries six lanes of automobile traffic, with three lanes in each direction. Tsuen Wan District
Tsuen Wan District is one of the 18 districts of Hong Kong. It is located in the New Territories and is served by the Tsuen Wan line of the MTR metro system. Its area is 60,7 km². Declared monuments of Hong Kong are places, structures or buildings legally declared to receive the highest level of protection. In Hong Kong, declaring a monument requires consulting the Antiquities Advisory Board, the approval of the Chief Executive of Hong Kong as well as the publication of the notice on the ''Hong Kong Government Gazette''. The Marine Department of the Hong Kong Government is responsible for maintaining safety and environmental protection of the harbour (Port of Hong Kong), ships registered/foreign ships in Hong Kong and monitor shipping traffic in Hong Kong Waters, search and rescue operations for large waters of the South China Sea. Green Island is an island off the northwest coast of Kennedy Town, Hong Kong Island, separated by the Sulphur Channel. A smaller island nearby to the east, uninhabited, is called Little Green Island (). Administratively, the two islands are part of Central and Western District.
