Tan Yee Kew
Datin Paduka Dr. Tan Yee Kew () (born 1953) is a Malaysian politician who served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Wangsa Maju from May 2018 to November 2022, for Klang from April 1995 to March 2008 and Parliamentary Secretary of International Trade and Industry from March 2004 to March 2008. She is a member of the People's Justice Party (PKR), a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) opposition coalition and was a member of the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA), a component party of the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. She was also the Treasurer of PKR before 2018, Deputy Women Chief of MCA from 1996 to 2005, State Women Chief of MCA of Selangor and Member of the Central Committee of MCA. 1999 Malaysian General Election
A general election was held on Monday, 29 November 1999 for members of the 10th Parliament of Malaysia. Voting took place in all 193 parliamentary constituencies of Malaysia, each electing one Member of Parliament to the Dewan Rakyat, the dominant house of Parliament. State elections also took place in 394 state constituencies in 11 out of 13 states of Malaysia (except Sabah and Sarawak) on the same day. This was the last election for Mahathir Mohamad as Prime Minister and Chairman of Barisan Nasional, until 2018. This was also the first election held in a single day nationwide. Barisan Nasional
The National Front ( ms, Barisan Nasional; abbrev: BN) is a political coalition of Malaysia that was founded in 1973 as a coalition of centre-right and right-wing political parties. It is also the third largest political coalition with 30 seats in the Dewan Rakyat after coalition Pakatan Harapan with 82 seats and the coalition Perikatan Nasional with 73 seats. Klang or Kelang, officially Royal City of Klang ( ms, Bandar Diraja Klang), is a royal city and former capital of the state of Selangor, Malaysia. It is located within the Klang District. Rafidah binti Aziz ( Jawi: ; born 4 November 1943) is a Malaysian politician who was Member of Parliament (MP) for the Selayang from 1978 to 1982 and Kuala Kangsar constituency from 1982 to 2013.
