Tampereen Peli-Pojat-70 (abbreviated PP-70) is a football club from Tampere, Finland that was established in 1970. PP-70 currently plays in the Nelonen with its home venue at the Ikurin Virelä (Ikuri Sports Field). History PP-70 were formed in 1970 following the amalgamation of the football sections of Lielahden Kipinä, Pispalan Tarmo and Lamminpään Korpi. In its early years the club played in the lower divisions of the Finnish football system but in 1985 were promoted for the first time to the Kakkonen which is the third tier. In total the club has enjoyed 4 spells at this level from 1986 to 1988, 1993–1994, 1996–2001 and 2008–2009. In 1994 the club were promoted to the Ykkönen and while their first experience at this level lasted only one season they were again promoted to the Ykkönen in 2001. Nelonen () is a Finnish commercial television channel. It started out as Helsinki's local television channel PTV in 1990 on the HTV cable network (now part of DNA Welho), and changed its name first to PTV4. On June 1, 1997, the channel expanded to national coverage and changed its name to Nelonen, the Finnish name of the number four. Finnish Football League System
The Finnish football league system is a series of interconnected leagues for club football in Finland. The three highest levels are managed by the Finnish FA while the other leagues are managed by the regional departments of the FA. Kakkonen or II divisioona is the third level in the league system of Finnish football and comprises 36 Finnish football teams. The II divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Kakkonen (Finnish for 'Number Two'; sv, Tvåan). Kolmonen or III divisioona is the fourth level in the league system of Finnish football and comprises 104 Finnish football teams. The III divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Kolmonen (''Number Three'' in English and ''Trean'' in Swedish). Vitonen or V divisioona is the sixth level in the Finnish football league system and comprises 228 teams. The V divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Vitonen (''Number Five'' in English and ''Femman'' in Swedish). The competition There are 228 clubs in the Vitonen, divided in 22 groups of 7 to 19 teams each representing a geographical area. During the course of a season (starting in April and ending in October) each club normally plays the others twice, once at their home ground and once at that of their opponents.
