Tamara Makarova
Tamara Fyodorovna Makarova (russian: Тама́ра Фёдоровна Мака́рова; 13 August 1907 – 19 January 1997) was a Soviet and Russian film actress and pedagogue. People's Artist of the USSR (1950) and Hero of Socialist Labour (1982). Biography Makarova was born in Saint Petersburg. She enrolled in the MASTFOR theater program in 1924, where she first met Sergei Gerasimov. The two began a romantic relationship and soon married. After World War II, they moved to Moscow, where Makarova began to teach at the Russian State University of Cinematography, which was later named after her husband. ''The Journalist'' (russian: Журналист, Zhurnalist) is a 1967 Soviet romantic drama. It was directed and written by Sergei Gerasimov. The film stars Galina Polskikh and Yuri Vasilyev and tells a story of love between a successful Moscow journalist and a girl in a remote city in the Urals. Plot The film consists of two parts. Oleg Vasilyevich Koshevoy ( uk, Олег Васильoвич Кошoвий, translit. ''Oleh Vasyl'ovych Koshovyi''; russian: Олег Васильевич Кошевой) (June 8, 1926 – February 9, 1943) was a Soviet partisan and one of the founders of the clandestine organization Young Guard, which fought the Nazi forces in Krasnodon during World War II between 1941 and 1945. Born in Pryluky, a city in the Chernihiv Oblast (province) of present-day north-central Ukraine (at the time a part of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic), Oleg Koshevoy's family moved south to Rzhyshchiv and Poltava before settling in Krasnodon (at the eastern border of Ukraine) in 1940, where he attended secondary school.
