Talegaon Railway Station
Talegaon railway station or Talegaon station is an important railway station on the Mumbai–Pune railway route. It has two platforms, five lines and one footbridge. This is a major halt for Pune Suburban Railway trains. This station serves as terminal for Pune–Talegaon suburban trains. The land for the construction of the Talegaon railway station was given to the British government by the Sardar Dabhade family. Now it is owned by Indian Railways. Pune Suburban Railway, (Marathi language, Marathi: पुणे उपनगरीय रेल्वे) also known as ''Pune Local'', is a suburban rail system connecting Pune to its suburbs and neighboring villages in Pune District, Maharashtra. It is operated by Central Railway zone, Central Railway (CR), part of Indian Railways. Shirdi (; also known as Sainagar) is a city in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is located in the Rahata taluka of Ahmednagar District. Bijapur, officially known as Vijayapura, is the district headquarters of Bijapur district of the Karnataka state of India. It is also the headquarters for Bijapur Taluk. Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (officially Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Bombay station code: CSMT ( mainline)/ST ( suburban)), is a historic railway terminus and UNESCO World Heritage Site in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The terminus was designed by a British born architectural engineer Frederick William Stevens from an initial design by Axel Haig, in an exuberant Italian Gothic style. Koyna Express
The 11029/11030 Koyna Express is one of 3 daily dedicated express trains belonging to Indian Railways that run between Mumbai and Kolhapur in India. It operates as train number 11029 from Mumbai CSMT to Kolhapur SCSMT and as train number 11030 in the reverse direction. The other two daily trains on the Mumbai and Kolhapur run are 11023/24 Sahyadri Express & 17411/12 Mahalaxmi Express. Named after the famous Sahyadri mountain range that forms part of the Western Ghats in Maharashtra, 11023 / 11024 Sahyadri Express was one of 3 daily dedicated express trains managed by Indian Railways, that ply between Mumbai and Kolhapur in India. The other two daily trains on the Mumbai and Kolhapur run are 11029/30 Koyna Express & 17411/12 Mahalaxmi Express. The Deccan Express is an express train that leaves daily at 3:15pm, plying between the cities of Pune and Mumbai in India, a distance of 192 km and at 7:00am from Mumbai to Pune.
